If you are still not sure of your feedneck, please post a picture of your marker in this thread and we will help you figure it out.
Note: AIM Timmy bodies can use two types of feednecks. Cocker threaded if you keep the feed tube in the body.. or if you remove the feed tube you can install an Impulse threaded feedneck.
Yes, the stock feedneck on classics was ridiculously tall...

Left side is 2k2/Alias, and on the right is Cocker.

Yeah I didn't see if this was sticky (if not HINT HINT) but this post would have saved me $15 a year ago :D
NOTE: My 2k4 Alias uses cocker thread feedneck so if your buying an "Alias" feedneck for your very early Alias you might be buying wrong

ok ok.. its been stickied ;) enjoy guys!
and yes Squirlly, Aliases used both types of feednecks.. the early ones were Cocker threaded, the later ones were "Alias" threaded - not only that, they used slightly different eye covers.. notice the dip where the eye cover screw is on the lower black/red fade Alias body? The eye cover for that Alias is contoured to fit into that dip.. it won't fit the upper silver Alias body because there's no dip.. the contour becomes an obstruction to installation.

System X NME is a Intimidator knock off, so that being said and since there are no feednecks made specifically for NMEs, the 2K2/Alias style is what fits one.

just for the record in case there are any other system x nme users on the forums, the nme has impulse threading. weird, nothing else is impulse almost everything else is straight alias or very similar in most respects
-----------edit-----------
found out that some of the older nme's have cocker threaded also. don't know when the switch happened but mine is number 2047 so if ur number is close to mine then it is prolly imp threaded

So does the rage timmy use cocker threaded feednecks?
so does that mean i can just pick up any feedneck and assume it's cocker
crankwalk

No, Rage Timmies are based on the later Alias platform.. so they are Alias threaded (not Cocker) - if you post a close up pic of the feedneck area on yours I can confirm.

actually, if i'm not mistaken, theyre held in place by a screw on each side, like the lightning and superbolt cockers.

Stewey: Yep thick at the bottom like in the pics at the start of the thread. So, when I bought 2 feednecks for a 2k2, they didn't fit because they're for Alias, instead. rider
should have checked the post, first

i love those high rise feednecks
I think this picture would be a worthwhile addition to the first post:

Left side is 2k2/Alias on the right is Cocker.
*This is assuming gen4 is 2k2/Alias.*
actually, if i'm not mistaken, theyre held in place by a screw on each side, like the lightning and superbolt cockers.
Mine was Angel threaded and had a screw on one side, the PsychoB cockers have one screw that holds the feedneck shaft (which is cocker threaded) in place.

My linking to your thread was for you to read the first post and get the answer yourself, but since you didn't or can't figure it out yourself.
