IOG Football League? (Fantasy)

Would anyone be interested in participating in a Yahoo fantasy football league, exclusive to IOG members? I'll set up a league (live draft, default yahoo points and roster settings, head-to-head scoring, 12 team max) if we have enough interested folks. Post up!

I just checked over the rules lopez, if someone can't make it to the draft - yahoo will auto pick based on your pre-rankings, and if no pre-rankings fall back on their defaults. I know not the most fun option but an option!

lol, well i had to push forward the draft date and delay the start of the league until week 2 of the NFL season... to give some time to our guys here to get signed up

here is the new draft date

Fri Sep 14 11:00pm EDT (Eastern)

and scoring will start that weekend!

I havent either, but i dont think so. Thats where u pick your players that you can get, like a real draft. Some good, some bad...

Hey sorry about changing the draft guys but we only had three teams as of this afternoon.

I'd like to make the draft date/time sometime that is the most convenient for at least the majority of the teams

right now basically ALL day Saturday the 15th is open. Would Sat night like 11PM EST work for you all? That's the latest it can go i think..

its going to be totally random - yahoo has a setting to automatically generate a draft order prior to the draft

and if you can't make it - pre-rank your players. yahoo will pick your players based on your ranking orders if you aren't there.

live draft picks override pre-rankings... yahoo only falls back on your pre-rankings if you aren't at the draft to make your own picks

10 min before draft time is best (draft is 11PM EST on Saturday the 15th)

and then you click on the link that says something like "your league is drafting now" and a separate popup window (java based) will appear, that's where the draft takes place

Well, he gets what he deserves. I mean he's drafted, given a lovely pay deal, and then gets all shirty demanding extra money and guarantees that if he's not picked as first string QB he expects to be payed additional bonuses for not playing. What an arse.

I had huge hopes for him, not just in my fantasy league, but as a Raiders fan I really hoped to finally address the issue of playing poor quarter back selections.

So I cut him and selected M Hasselbeck, as back up QB. Then lost J Delhomme through injury.

Injury's really change things...

Right now I almost regret getting Marvin Harrison in the first or second round, he only played in one game so far and my other receivers suck beside Tory Holt.

congrats to those who made it to the playoffs, I finished last in the league due to bad choices in the draft(my opinion, I pick M. Harrison in the 1st or 2nd round and he only played 1 or 2 games). Can't wait to do this next year as well.

Well I'm surprised I made it to the play-offs, only by the skin of my teeth though. Not bad for a Brit, who know's sod all about American football.:)

It has been a laugh from start to finish, although I have made a few mistakes. Like two weeks out of this season, I never selected my team, as I left it too late. So had to play with the previous week selection. The best laugh was getting up at 4am to take part in the live draft. My best selection had to be J Addaii from the Colts. Good earner.

I'll definately play next season. Hopefully we'll get more participants.:cheers:
