Now I've decided to make a guide on this because it seems like every time someone post's that they recently got a 2k2 intimidator a lot of people post saying "2k5 it". Now you might be wondering what does 2k5ing mean exactly I'm here to explain what that means. I suppose there is a guide on PBnation but it's full of dead links and not very detailed.
Alright so let's get started 2k5ing means to take an older intimidator & add 2k5 parts to it. Is this necessary to do to a 2k2 intimidator? No it's not although it does seem to be quite popular among many owners of 2k2 intimidators.
Parts to do this are..
2k5 style frame of course!
2k5 Board
2k5 wiring (It can be purchased from crankwalk here on the forums)
Now if you want to FULLY 2k5 your marker you're going to want to get on top of the already stated items...
Ram/Ram Sleeve & Poppet.
LPR & Front Block (You need to send your body to blast to be tapped so it can accept the set screw for your new front block)
And an alias style noid.
IOG EDIT:
You may install an Alias ram sleeve/poppet into your 2k2 body without any modification whatsoever. The advantage of installing an Alias ram sleeve is that you can then use the Alias poppet which is a better design than the 2k2 poppet, as it has has the integrated cupseal head. You no longer have to deal with maintenance and replacement of the white 2k2 style cupseal disc, as the Alias integrated cupseal will last much longer. However, you can achieve this same effect while still keeping your 2k2 ram sleeve, by installing an Empire poppet (compatible with 2k2 sleeves). See this article (http://www.intimidatorowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1048) for more information on the types of ram sleeves and poppets. Also if you choose to use an Alias sleeve you do not HAVE to use an Alias ram/ram cap. 2k2 ram and ram cap will fit. But then this is not true 2k5ing ;)
Information regarding frontblocks:
The pattern configuration on the side is different for an Alias and Empire. The shocktech front blocks are also smoother and cut differently as well. I picked up several Shocktech front blocks (alias style) with LPR for $20 two years ago when they were blowing them out. If you look at my Rippers you may see the difference. I'll see if I can take some pictures between the three later this week. (thanks Lopez17)
Where to buy all these items..?
Frame,Board,Trigger,Ram & Ram Sleeve,LPR, and Front block can all be purchased brand new from Critical Paintball & the wiring can be purchased from crankwalk. Although I wouldn't recommend buying all the parts brand new because it can end up being quite costly but rather buy used parts out of the BST section here on IOG.

Please post with any corrections or perhaps something you want me to add.
Also feel free to post pictures of your 2k5'd intimidator.
Thanks,
