Because its Friday, I'm bored at work, and can't stop thinking about heading to the bar for a nice cold beer.
So what is your favorite beer?
I'm probably a bit of a beer snob since I've had more different brands and types than I can remember and tend to avoid anything made by the big guys. My to favorite hot-spots around here (metro Detroit) have 40-60 beers on tap so I get my fill.
My favs, in no particular order...
Guinness
Wexford Cream Ale
Short's Huma Lupa Licious
Stone Arrogant Bastard
Dogfish Head 60, 90, and 120 minute IPAs (120 is 21% alcohol :D)
Dogfish Head Punkin Ale
Bell's...pick one
Michigan Brewing Co. Screaming Pumpkin Ale
Dragonmead Final Absolution
and more I can't remember...
Several of those are local to MI and the midwest.

Being a yankee (originally from NY) I am still a HUGE fan of Labatt Blue. The fact that I can't get it in Florida drives me crazy, whenever I get up somewhere that has it I drink my fill.
As far as down here I stick to the Sam Adams, doesn't matter which!
If I ever get out to the west coast again, I know for a fact that I will be enjoying a Rogue Dead Guy Ale. We can't get that in Jacksonville either!!!
Great discussion topic on a Friday afternoon!!!

LOL, I still find it funny when I go to the States and see the giant "IMPORT" logos on Canadian beer. Anyhow... the list.
Guinness, Molson Canadian, Kilkenny, Sleeman's Honey Brown, Labatt's Genuine Honey, Rickard's Red, Alexander Keith's, Brick.. there's more.. I'm just too lazy to type them at the moment.
Not Wee Willy's though... easily the worst beer ever.

Whichever one is in my hand and open...
Seriously I really DON'T like any "American" Beers and this includes the Wimpy Americanized Imports.
I like Beer the way the Germans drink it with the hops floating in the brew still and room temp! The stronger the taste the better. I was also pleasently supprized when I was in Windsor, Ontario Canada I thought it would be a good time to drink cheap and ordered a Labatt and WOW the Canadian version is so much better than the watered down 5.9% max alcohol by US Law they import.

i loved the blue variety packs all summer. honey, summer blonde(bit more of a bitter hoopy taste to it), lime(best lime beer i've tried), and regular blue. when i'm drinking at a bar though it's usually bud light...yes yes it's **** water like any other light beer but a) it's cheap and b)it's cheap. unless i'm in my home town right on the ST. Lawrence, where there isn't a single place without blue on tap. in Canton NY, there's a bar called the hoot owl that does dollar blues on tuesdays GLORIOUS!!!!!! here in Potsdam at McDuff's(not an irish pub...very disappointing) though it's big beer mondays, they change what they have on tap alot so it's hit or miss with Molson canadian or blue.
