Ok like the title says this thread is to post about some of the worst injuries you have ever received. Not pb related just any old injury, i.e. broken bones, cuts, etc..
Ok I'll start first. One Sunday, July 20th I believe, at around 7:30pm I was driving home when out of the blue I was t-boned by a drunk driver. He ran a red light doing around 50-60mph they said, totally totaling the van I was in. I received a nice 10inch cut on my scalp and forehead, requiring 21 staples and 8 stitches. I spent the night in the hospital and was released the next day at around 2:30pm. To this day I still do not remember anything from 4pm that Sunday till I woke up the next morning at 6am. I have put the pic of my head as a link so anyone who doesn't like blood and such doesn't have to see it.
Do not click if you can't stand blood (http://s180.photobucket.com/albums/x295/goldwest57/?action=view&current=IMG_2258.jpg)

Ouch, that sucks. Glad to see you recovered and are still around. That pic makes the story more gnarly...Nor Cal? I used to play at the field in Petaluma.

Let's see, when I was 7, I tripped, fell and landed in such a way that I shattered my femur. I spent 6 weeks in the hospital in traction and another 6 in a body cast. For those of you not familiar with traction, they immobilize your leg with weights which are held in place with a pin. They drill that pin through your leg (or arm) to pull the limb and stabilize it. In my case, they needed the blood to clot so my prep for this was a guy holding me down as they drilled a 1/4" pin through my leg with me fully conscious. Great fun. There's nothing like the sound of bone being ground through. They gave me morphine after it was done.

I also landed awkwardly on a toe this year playing paintball and jammed it so bad it made my entire foot swell up. Three weeks later when the swelling subsided I peeled a continuous length of skin off my toe in a half circle minus where the nail was. That was impressive.

I've also broken most every toe on my foot once, and some two or three times from soccer...blew out my knee which had to be majorly reconstructed from soccer and hoops. I've had two staph infections. In my eye. One requiring an injection of antibiotics. Fun!

Well That picture is nice but I was looking for blood and was a little disappointed. However the slice looks pretty cool.

My injury isn't as cool as that. I was running around, at a younger age, at this girls house that I liked with a friend who said something about me and her or something along those lines when all of a sudden around one of the corners of the house a big pipe jumped out and jammed itself into my leg. I didn't notice it 'til my friend turned around while running form me and yelled that I had a hole in my leg. I freaked a little about the hole and blood coming out. We were a ways from my house so we jumped on his bike with me on the handlebar and him being stupid making sounds like an ambulance going down the road.

Speaking of pain, for me nothing hurts worse than a kidney stone. Had one in March, it hurt uber bad and it was just a very tiny one I had. I was talking to a lady that has 8 kids and she said that she would rather give birth to another 8 than to have one more kidney stone. For those of you that haven't had one, don't. You know how it feels when you have to take a leak really really bad to the point that it hurts? Well that's how it feels, once its in your bladder, and it feels like that all the time. But first it has to go from your kidney to your bladder, which it when some of the bad pain is.
