Bad part is that the gun's going to be a ***** to fix. I'm thinking about $100 after the new eyes. I took care of most of the bottom parts (frame, HPR, eyes) but the valve, ram, LPR, and solenoid need attention, as well as a new pair of eyes.

If i mount a gun vertically on the scale and zero out the scale, then hit the trigger, technically the additional force (weight) on the scale from the shot is a measurement of kick...

I'm an idiot, I forgot to mention that. My scale will tell me the max weight from the previous 3 seconds after a delay period...

So that I can read it

The thing about kick is this........
In stacked tube poppets the main 'kick' that you feel is from the bolt. When the ram hits the stops the bolt still has some momentum and wants to continue to move. So that puts a little more of a 'rocking' motion. Now spoolers don't have that problem because their bolt is inline.

EDIT:To the point that should give you a nice ballpark figure using the scales. The only thing I can think of is if it would be any different shooting a ball or not.

And balancing the gun I have drawn up some stuff for a light PVC that will connect to the tank and the grip. It will have a square base on it so it will be steady (or so the theory goes hahah)

the Promaster is a pretty sweet gun too, has a bit of kick & is some what loud but IMO the best starter gun out there.

Finally, someone who recognizes it. All you need is $50 and it can perform just as great as the SLG or anything mid-level marker.

Lurker is working on cloning the ICDU Rammer(The upgrade for the ProMaster - reduces kick, changes sound signature, and increases efficiency, as well as ease of maintenance) So we will see how that goes. - been waiting forever on someone legit to clone it.

They make the BEST impulse aftermarket parts for sure. Decent triggers for most guns, great Feednecks. The list goes on!

And bob was in a corner of the first call booth and had a seperate MUCH SMALLER tent that had the techs in it.

Matt was at first call most of the day..
