Tonight I was inforemd that the kitchen sink was leaking so I had my son turn on the water while my head was underneath where the leak was. Oh my it was leaking like no tomorrow from the coupling that the sprayer attaches to. I noticed that that coupling had plastic retaining clips so I uncliped it and what did I find but a hose end with an oring. At first blush I thought the oring looked acceptable but then when I looked again it was ever so slightly deformed so I started digging thru my paintball toolbox... AHA! The perfect sized oring! Me being a paintballer saved me a trip to the hardware and maybe a call to a plumber becase if it was not for me teching my own markers that oring would have looked OK to me.

Ironically, I had the same thing happen with the nozzle on the spray attachment on my sink. Took a nice 010 buna. :)

Oh man, I could go on and on about how paintballing has saved me from pain and suffering... I remember especially one time in Carpentry class... I wouldn't have a thumb to be typing right now on my right hand if it wasn't for the paintball training my reflexes, I guarantee it. Oh, and dodging hammers falling from the top of ladders that idiots leave up there... loads of fun in that class.
