ok i just got photoshop 7.0 and im having a hard time figuring out how to change the color of a pic of my species so i can get my gun annodized the way i want it any help would be greatly appreciated

Desaturate the picture then use a semi transparent brush? That's how I'd do it. What color do you want it?

how would i go about doing that with the brushi like, JUST got the prgrm, and have no idea how to use it, i might want like a black to alien greenish fade or somehow take a texture and apply it to the whole gun like this paintjob

o and i found how to desaturate it but the transparent brush is only red you cant change it

yes you can, change the foreground color.

but i reccomend going to image-adjustments- hue/saturation
