I see tons and tons of people with stiffi's and was wondering as far as you guys prefer how does a stiffi barrel rank up to other barrels you have shot? I have a freak set now with a teardrop full set of inserts, but like you guys know with field paint like proball and cheap old Spank basicly I use the .689 bore 9 times out of 10. and whats a fair price for a used stiffi..?

i have a stiffi tip for my pipe kit and it pwns any other kit/combo ive tryed. so im sure a full stiffi will be great too. if you're looking to save some money, stiffi makes or made tips for freak backs, as well as pipe, emiper, and a couple others.

They're about $90 new I think so $50 used is probably reasonable, depending on the threads I've seen them go for $30 before.

stiffi's are pretty sick barrels. they are the quietest ones i've come across yet and they seem very accurate, not to mention they're cf so they are light as heck. I've used stiffi-tipped freaks and they seemed pretty nice. If you have the money i dont think you'll be dissapointed if you got one.

Timmyfreak- Oh, that explains it. I am defiantly looking at trying to get a Stiffi barrel tip and one back.

In my small experience, Stiffi barrels seem to be a little bit of a hit or miss thing. I bought a Switch kit and I am very satisfied with the product - good accuracy (nothing fantastic but not worse than my Freak kit), very light, quite silent, good looks. The only thing is that it doesn't clean so well after breaks. Two of my temmates saw it and fell in love and they both bought one (in 14", mine is 16") ...and both have complained a lot about accuracy problems and have since gone back to ULs.
