I live just south of That state up north. But I'll be within spitting distance playing paintball on Feb 28th at a new Indoor Facility in Sylvania, OH Both of you live closer to this field than I do if your not busy on the 28th.

Paint was 55 for draxxus custom formula and there was cheaper stuff to pic from i played 7 prelim games and 5 final games and only shot little more than half case. The games were 5 min but the fields were set up for short games like mini x ball fields it was fast and ferious.

Yeah, they play there. I haven't been to TCP, is it good?

TCP has been my primary playing location since I started in '03. They have locations in Traverse City, Midland, Grand Rapids and Toledo Ohio. I heard the owner of the Toledo location is a bit of a yahoo, but never been there myself.
I only have a couple other fields, Action Sports and Area 51, that are "local" to play at and they are not even close to TCP, IMHO.I can't really justify driving 3+ hours to try a lot of the fields down state, except the big games that I sometimes attend at Hell Survivors.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I love Hell Survivors Xball field, normally get a decent turnout and apparently this year it's only gonna be $50 if you buy your paint at exotic sportz.

Never played on their Xball field, just scenario ball. Did watch a lunch time tournament during the MMG in 08. Looked like a really nice field.

Yeah, I used to go there all the time for rec play, might go out there over the summer I've only done global conquest how is MMG?

It's fun. I haven't been to GC yet. There are a lot of people that go to MMG and can get hectic at times, just like TWC.

Oh, sounds fun, last time I went to a hell survivors event was like 5 years ago :(.

I go about once a year all depending on money. I generally shoot a lot of paint down there and makes it about a $300 weekend, not including food or gas
Ollieleet
03-24-2009, 06:38 PM
Ouch, you guys should come down to futureball for the almost free 3 man tournies.

Unfortunately I'm 1 of 2 people left out of the 5 man team I was in, that disbanded in 06-07 when I had to take some time off. The other person that is left won't be playing much in 09.
I'd have to find a pick up team or someone needing an extra, that is if I have extra cash for gas :(
Ollieleet
03-24-2009, 07:14 PM
Ah, that always sucks, normally the turnout for their 3 mans is fairly good & the price is right $60 entry.
LWard
03-24-2009, 07:25 PM
$60 entry for a team? That's crazy. We see $100 up here it was $150 about 3 years ago, but then the tourney seen started to decline. I think it's on a rise again though.
Ollieleet
03-24-2009, 07:37 PM
Yeah, it's $60 per team, and I'm gonna talk to james and see if it's byop.
LWard
03-24-2009, 07:50 PM
BYOP is always nice. James the owner?
Ollieleet
03-24-2009, 08:01 PM
Yeah, James is the guy I'd talk to regarding that he's the owner.
