first off i have to say that i have had no trouble with the factory feedneck on my alias, but as everyone knows looking good is 97.2 % of everything and i want to "upgrade" to a clamping type...more specifically a lo-rise or no-rise black feedneck with a silver clamp to match my evil pipe kit....sounds easy enough but i am having trouble finding one.....avi gear has a black new designz clamping feedneck but i would have to purchase a separate silver locking arm to achieve the scheme i want and that would cost $50 to $60....I guess no one ever said looking good was supposed to be cheap.....anybody have any suggestions???

does shockteck make one? i never look at their stuff, i think its ugly a hell, but it might be something to look at and just see if you like it.

they do, but not the black/silver contrast that i am looking for.... the smartparts q-lock would be perfect but the whole "i don't have a shocker" thing kinda messes that up....trinity makes one but i'm not sure if it would fit my alias.....does anyone know if the feedneck threads on my alias are the same as a cocker???

What kind of trouble are you having with the stock feedneck?

Not an attempt to hijack but...
I have a similar issue with the standard neck on my Empire. The twist lock does not clamp down fully on either of my eggs, leaving them twisting about all over the place. Would also like to switch to a lever-lock style, but not sure what thread the 05 Empire uses?
Welcome to IOG BTW Megatron

One way to fix that problem is to get some sand paper and put it between the outside of the feed neck on your hopper, and on the inside of the feed neck of your gun. That should fix your issue, at least temporarily. It is far from a permanent fix though.

Once again...i have had no trouble w/ the factory twist lock feedneck on my alias securing my halo....just looking for a cosmetic upgrade here....wish blast offered a color contrast kit including feedneck, eye covers, end cap, trigger and or guard....this would be much easier and cheaper.....gee tee, the center of gravity on the egg will always give you problems with shifting....you may want to switch to a halo (very cheap now) or a vlocity......

Good point - but I use the eggs on my Ego too, and that's fine as it uses the lever lock type of neck.
Anyone know what the Empire thread is?
