Hey guys, as a lot of you might know, I've been working on a gun I picked up from another IOGer for about a year now, slowly picking up parts and modernizing it a bit. And not too long ago, another IOG member came up with an interesting part not many of us would think to replace. And not only did he do a fantastic job of designing and milling it. It's actually a tad more functional than the stock one. Why might you ask? Well, the stock one had one major flaw in my eyes. The shaft to the threads is tapered, when you screw the factory plug all the way in, it can rub on the topmost portion of the body's milling, scratching the anno, which also happens when you insert the bolt pin. And I don't think any of us with modified guns like the idea of marring expansive anodizing jobs. So, what Siege1 did, was mill the taper out of the shaft, so it no longer touches the body in any way once it's screwed in to the pin. Another nice feature, is that it uses tank o-rings to snugly hold it inside the body, which means replacements are as close as your local field. Again, it's not something everyone would think about upgrading, but it's definitely worth every cent to me.
Siege1 also does custom orders too, so if you think of a part you need, give him a shout and you can always work something out! And I'm sure everyone's been waiting for this... eye candy!
