I'm looking for opinions on people's favorite trigger styles, or maybe something you haven't seen done.
Pictures would help.
I'm thinking about doing a short run of triggers, so I want to see what people like the best.
They'll most likely be a composite material like I use for necrorams. I personally like a lighter trigger.
Thanks everyone.

Well the critical trigger is nice. I tend to like the slope-like thing (look at the pics of my timmy, that trigger and the pics of my Pilot similar style)
the stock empire 2 trigger

I like some of the trigger designs THEBETTERONE has on his site. I would love to see some of those styles done for the timmy. What would your trigger line be called? Necro Triggers? Not catchy enough... maybe Dead Finger Triggers... I dunno just keeping with the Necro theme. Let me know if you need a tester, or any designs made... Working on your jersey... I might actually have time to work on it today if I get my work done...

critical style, but with less of a wave, so its possible to walk in normal trigger guards, like, the same wave as a techna scythe, but starting up near the top of the trigger like a critical

are you going to design more than one style? and is it going to be magnetic too. every is talking about the power kodachi but its not available for gen 3 so maybe with that looks and style but with magnets.
necrolyte
03-17-2009, 05:14 PM
Magnets aren't that big of a deal to incorporate.
I don't see a problem doing more than one design.
Its interesting the different triggers listed so far.

I forgot about the different generations using different triggers. :foreheadpalm:
I'd be wanting it for a Gen5, unless I come across a cheap gen3 or 4. :D

Scythe style and CP Stick are my favorites.

CP Sling, a scythe style trigger pretty much has to be included.. everyone likes a good scythe. :D I'm also quite interested in the POWER triggers too, though they don't fit the Gen3.. :(

I love these triggers but like excessive said take a little of the ark out of it. If you can do that and keep it a roller bearing ill buy one.

thats the NDZ, right? i had one in my Dark and loved it. its thin and beveled like the stock. IMO its actually more comfortable than the CP
metalblue
03-17-2009, 08:07 PM
Yes DF it is NDZ its in my opinion the easiest tigger to walk but you need alot of room in the trigger guard. Like i said if necro can just take a little of the arc out of it it would be perfect.Aso if you look at my gold and red timmy i have a AIM trigger guard that is huge as far as finger room but for that NDZ trigger its perfect.

If necro can copy that trigger but put the arc of syders trigger pic in it that would be a wonderful trigger. Plus that grub screw in the top is a must for setting up the trigger pull that would have to be incorperated also.

I noticed that as well with the CP Sling in the Species trigger guard, I swapped it out for and Empire and was good to go.. :D

CRITICAL, CP Sling, Vampire, Scythe, or just a trigger with a slight forward slope.

I like the stock VICE/PROTEGE trigger the best, second woult be the critical (look at the pic of my old texas storms), and third would be the stock Alias trigger.
All very nice and comfy. I'm not a huge fan of rake style .
So you gonna make some triggers :) :) :D?

or like the rake. i don't like the tops of my triggers like how the criticals are... i'm weird

i actually dont like the sling. its too flat. the ndz is more beveled off on the sides so its thin like the stock trigger.

I was going to try to shoot for pre-travel adjustments on these, I just dont know how much material will be there to be able to do it.
The CNC arrives friday, and I have a tourny Saturday, and easter is sunday, so my entire weekend is messed up to be able to set it up and start playing with it.
Knowing me though, I'll have it set up friday night, and be cutting early Saturday morning (3-4am) and then be super tired for the tourny :D
