can operate on HPR, your regs will limit the input anyways...

Yeah like big daddy said the gun has two reg's that adjust the pressure in the gun so you wont blow or break anything. But that being said, most people I know who shoot higher end guns shoot LP tanks, more efficient I believe, and better for the gun. Help me out guys feel free to step in :D

don't think it matters with a timmy with the HPR and LPR in place... You can run the HPR as a gas through technically and the LPR will regulate in theory...

bryn11 is certainly new to timmy's as I have sold him my RL timmy. I convinced him to join our little group, so look after him guy's.:D

Ok, back to the issue of what is the ideal pressure supply to send to the timmy. If I remember rightly when I read through the manual (I know it's a rareity for any one to actually sit down and read through those things, instead opting to play and see how it goes) but I remember seeing that the recommended output pressure from a fixed regulator is 400psi (LP). For an adjustable regulator, the output pressure should be set to between 400 - 500psi.

However, I know of some players running a fixed output regulator of 850psi (HP). You are pasically putting a higher pressure supply to the tornado (in-line regulator). Most regaultors can handle such a high input pressure, so it's not really an issue.

probably wont matter at first, you may have to rebuild your inline reg more frequently if you go with a high output tank because the reg is working harder to "regulate" the psi down from 850 than it would to "regulate" the psi down from 450......be kind to your torpedo, get a low pressure tank:)
