My friend gave me some schizz from his getting out of paintball sale. I have a Dye LPR now, but was wondering if it is HP or LP? Or both like the old torps used to be? I ask because I have a hp Crossy, and don't want to f it up....Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. It's the lpr they used to stick on the DM5-7 and the Proto gats...

are you talking about the HPR or the LPR on the Dye guns that go inside the marker?

just an educated guess here but the dye in-line reg is the hyper reg and i believe it can handle both hp and lp, but like the "old torpedo", the hyper is happiest with a lp tank feeding it. If it isnt the inline reg you are refering to than it is the lpr, the reg that controlls the cycling pressure of the gun(gat), and it operates at a very low pressure indeed

Sorry gys, I was generalizing. Yeah, it's the hyper reg I was talking about...I have heard otehr people calling them lpr's, and I guess it rubbed off on me. So, I should go with lp then? Cool...maybe I can trade with someone, or just get a new crossy...wait, I'm not rich, lol. Thanks for the help fellas.

I use a HP tank with my Dye Hyper 2 and it has seemed to work fine with my Intimidator.

hyper2 regs are very awsome. i have seen many people use them on their timmys

just fyi, crossfire has an excellent reg swap program...you send in your tank (degassed of course) to them and they swap out the reg from a hp to a lp for very cheap....way cheaper than buying a whole new tank.....but like everyone is saying, you can use an hp and everything should be fine

Wow Magatron, I had no idea about that...I am gonna have to check into it. I was a little concerened about gassign up, but if you guys say it's ok, I will give it the go ahead...thanks again all.:D

Hey Megatron do you know if pure energy does that? Because I might be getting an Angel and they run much better on LP tanks.
