Im having some issues with my alias leaking. when I try to pressurize the gun, it leaks from about where the ram would be. I tried relubing everything, and this didn't fix the problem. Also with whatever is going on, the gun won't even hold pressure. The gauge doesnt even move. I'm wondering if maybe I just need to go through with a rebuild kit and replace orings etc. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Forgot to mention that i was using an hp tank on it. could this have been a really stupid mistake that caused my issues?

HP tank won't hurt it at all.. your HPR will regulate all incoming pressure, to a usable level.
More than likely you need to replace your poppet and ram o-rings..

timmy_lover- I would replace all of the o-rings, then if that doesn't work I would replace the ram bumper, then if that doesn't work the poppet. That should do it with one of those.

The output pressure on the tank will have nothing to do with your leak.
1) Replace your o-rings. Lube with Dow 55 the first time.
If you still get a leak after doing the above...
2) Replace your poppet o-ring and lube.
3) If you're still getting a leak, make sure you haven't punctured your body.

nicely put lopez17, couldn't of said it any better myself, but my question is if your Reg ( Timmy lover) reads no pressure, then how bad is the leak? I assume the hiss comes from the front of the gun, or if not the rear area ? Does the blot still pressurize when air is applied( tell tale sign that your Timmy is ready to shred )? need to know more information, tell us if the Cleaning, Relubing, and changing any o-Ring with any signs of ware.... props to Lopez again good post. :D tell us if this does not work.

i tried relubing, and it didnt fix anything. the leak seems to be coming from right under the bolt and the bolt doesnt pressurize.i didnt try replacing orings yet because i dont have any spares right now.the body isnt puntured anywhere either.

This may be a stupid comment but make sure your barbs aren't backing out. If they've unscrewed your ram won't pressurize and it would sound like it's coming from under the ram.

timmy_lover- I would do what lopez17 said and make sure your barbs are in, but not to the point that they snap.
