Should I trade my Alias. Need to Tnow Now

I have a firend who has offered to trade me his 05 ego my my 05 alias, and I add 70 bucks, we also keep the barrels we have. My setup is below, the ego has a todoa board hybrid grips and a hybrid feedneck on it. Is this a good trade? I need to know asap. Thanks.

Personaly I like the Alias's WAY better than any 05 Ego. Dollar for dollar it's probably about fair/a tad in your favor with the tado board. I'd personaly keed the alias because it looks better and preformance is going to be about the same.

Pretty even in my eyes, the sound of the ego is the deal breaker for me though.

I am going to go against the crowd that has so far responded, I would take the 05 Ego. Both guns are good guns, but like GOD posted the cash value of a 05 Ego is higher then a 05 Alias. I personally like Ego's and am hopefully going to get one soon, but I would definitely do the trade, because if you end up not liking the Ego then you could always trade for another Alias with more upgrades or a different style Intimidator. But in the end it is up to you, go out and shoot his Ego at a couple games at your local field and see how you like it.

05 alias for an 05 ego....hmmm....i'd keep the alias, thats just me.... irs is right though, trade guns for a day and play w the ego, get famillar with it, and if you still want to trade at the end of the day then do it

Meh Alias resale is bad but from what I've seen the Ego is nothing too amazing. Looks like you have a nice Alias, I would just keep it unless you try the Ego and really see a big difference in performance.

Thats what I'm planning on doing this thursday. I figure that if I dont like the ego then I can sell it and get something that I like more.

am i understanding this correctly, the only ups the ego has is the board, grips, & feedneck? If thats the case then i definately wouldnt trade....just my opinion

I have a Timmy (Empire) and an 05 Ego. Had the Ego first and then shot a mates Alias at a walk on.... next thing I was buying a Timmy :rolleyes:

I've kept the Ego as well so I have the option to shoot both :cool:

IMO the Timmy is more accurate, more efficient & quieter than the Ego - but the Ego shoots way faster on the Tadao M7 board. However the vote may shift in favour of the Timmy with some of it's recent upgrades, which include Critical trigger, Lurker ram and Lucky board :tup:

as long as the gun can get 15bps, I could care less if it tops out at 25 bps or 98345783483 bps


15 is plenty fast.
