What i did was took a piece of aluminum tube that fit in there and notched it to fit around the "arms" of the valve. I then bent the tube to an L shape and used it like a wrench. It took a little fine tuning but it works.

I head that If you have your Vices ram sleeve anoed that the integrity can be damaged and it will leak? Also I heard replacing the ram sleeve is quite difficult. Taking it out in the first place is fairly easy but reinstalling it is difficult and can cause damage which would result in leaks. This is why Blast didn't release the accent kit for the Vice and Proteges, they would have had to had people send their markers to BLAST so that they could instal them correctly so the Ram sleeve would not be damaged.

Necro helped me with this before.

You want a 1/4" drive cam extension set in maybe 4-6". Use the square side to remove the valve.

The ram sleeve is a piece of cake given you do it according to the manual. If you don't you could cause issues, but if you do... easy peasy lemon squeezie. My favorite tool for extraction of the sleeve is a wooden spoon from the front after removing the poppit and all things holding it in.

I've always just VERY CAREFULLY used a small flathead screwdriver on one side to get them out. There's just a greased oring holding it in there, no loctite on the threads. What Slvr said is also a very good idea.

Thanks to both of you. I had always contemplated getting my Vice anoed but have heard nightmare stories about the the ram sleeves being damaged. Was thinking about going Storm Tropper, dust clear with gloss black accents :)

You just need to know what you are doing and be very careful, if you screw it up and cause a leak BLAST will most likely NOT help you out all that much because they do not suggest getting it annoed. SmartParts is correct in that they did not come out with an accent kit for either Gen 5 timmy because of the potential difficulty in reinstalling the ram sleeve. As long as you are careful about it, you should have no problem
