Deadly Deals with a Defiant 2

Hello everyone, and I want to thank everyone in advance for reading and posting in the thread.

I own a Defiant 2, and I want to put forth effort into upgrading my Defiant 2. But before I get into it, I want to know if perhaps the Alias Timmy parts and the Defiant 2 parts are possibly compatible.

Searching online and such, getting quotes and prices on parts... But I don't want to buy something that won't work or won't function because of wrong threads/size/whatever the case may be, such as a feedneck replacement for example.

My plans are to change its color from gloss black to a lime green (team color), upgrade the internals and also the board, barrel kit system, feedneck, grips, and everything/anything possible I would like to upgrade and change.

I am serious about going all out, and I do have the money budgeted - at least $600 so far. Getting paid in a couple of days so it will be much more for budgeting after bills and such.

If anyone has any suggestions or tips, please send them my way. When I get home from my 2nd tour of the sandbox, I will be spending my leave time on building this monster together.

if i remember correctly the defiant was one of the crapier guns that bob long made and thats why they stopped making them. i dont think you can even interchance parts of a timmy to a defiant but i may be wrong. If your looking to spend $600 i would recommend more that you pickup a nice alias and go from there. For that much you can probably pickup an alias upped to the max and it will perform far better then a defiant ever will. Thats just my 2 cents.

get a protege and up it! (necro ram when there out, 4C eyes and LP poppet. that and a tadao OLED you'll be laughing!)

Find a Used Vice for that. Or find a used marq for cheaper than up that. the Defiant isn't worth the trouble.

Only the generic parts will work with a Defiant and Alias(HPR, ASA, etc)

Buy Flipzz sale. - 3 Timmies and parts for $650.

I'm actually kinda shocked. I enjoy my Defiant 2.
I have been looking back into the Alias series, I'm more familiar with the Alias.

Let me find this sale with the three timmy's. My paypal account currently has 610, so I'm a little tad bit short. It'll take like three days for a bank transfer.

I'm not worried on color, its going to be changed.
But this is a really decent price for an Alias.

I mean if I have the extra cash, I mind as well get a Vice, or a Protege. I just want to actually upgrade a marker that will be worth my time and money. Kinda thought the Defiant 2 would be neat to upgrade and work on. I guess technology answered that for me.

TRUST ME!

I've shot all the gens, while the 3 is great, the 5 is worth the higher cost. With $600 you can get a cheaper used protege and LITERALLY upgrade it completely with Yak USB, barrel KIT, feedneck, trigger, the whole 9 yards!

Do some searching and you can find some Aliases for $200. Like Daigz said I'd get a Protege or a Vice. Or get a Marq.

We're helpful most of the time. :D
You can find Proteges from $350-$450 you just have to look.
Then all you rly need is a clamping feedneck, pillow bolt, maybe a board flash, and an LP poppet if you rly want one.

I wisht that I still had mine! That thing was awesome but you can scour the nation and find a really good one for $300... and as far as the upgrades, if it is BONE stock here is what I would suggest (and I'm keeping in mind the total of $600 you have)...

Yak Board (it's worth the money)
Pillow Bolt
Feedneck (A must)
Necroram (when it comes out)
Power Trigger (if you can find one)
