-gauge plug

-gauge
-asa
Materials for non ghetto one. This way elminates the asa/reg combo.
-macroline
-gauge
-1/8 npt female coupler
-fitting
This is what the coupler looks like, its under $1 at ace hardware.

Just push the macroline in the ram, its a tight fit so it wont leak. And air up your marker and bam! LPR Tester
I just need a better gauge and im set.

Seems easier to me to save the $40 to buy a real Vice LPR tester lol.

Werd!
In a case like this, I'd rather have the actual tester, than a cobbled up contraption that may come out at any time, and possibly become a projectile.

Yeah... having the possibility of it shooting off at me doesn't turn me on. Now, if he had something for the threading of the ram cap to 1/8NPT, that would be a good idea. Just screw it on and put in a macro fitting.

I agree with Red, it needs to be able to screw into the back of the marker, not just have to "hold it on"

well i think its a GREAT idea!!! For those situations where you dont have an official bright and shiny LPR tester handy or you broke yours, or you are just to flat out cheap to buy one... I mean if you are in a bind and need one but dont have one, i guarentee you or someone at your field has the materials in their toolbox to rig one of these puppies up... and so what if you have to hold on to it?! We all wear goggles to work on our markers, right?:dodgy:?

I'm sure if people ask REAL nice, one of the machinists around here could make a threaded rod with a 1/8 npt hole on the back. Eliminating the need for fittings + lines. Just screw in your gauge and you're done!

Give it time, some kid with to much ignorance & not enough common sense is gonna make one of these & hurt his/her self. I can already see the headline: "Kid Mauled by Paintball GUN Explosion".
Either buy what BLAST has made for this or have one machined by an experienced machinist that threads in & wont pull out.

I dont think shooting off is a issue as it us under 100psi and I dont even have to hold mine on, the force to push the macroline in the ram tube is greater that the pressure of the lpr.

I have an LPR tester in my pack, it's always there or in my Protege(s) for testing.
If you don't have a tester or it is broken, you can always do what is said that Bob himself does, back off the LPR and HPR, turn the HPR back in a turn, then turn the LPR in until the marker cycles fully, then set HPR for feild speed. From what I;ve read, since I haven't tested this myself, the LPR gets set within a close range to recomended settings.

Black macroline is to small and will either leak or shot the tester at you.
I used a blue macroline which is bigger and now i no longer have a leak or a fly ghetto tester coming at me.

interesting, the tightness of the macroline actually kept the tester in... that's pretty bad ***!

any ideas what the vice backcap thread is???

No, but another option would be to order another ram cap and drill/tap it for 1/8" NPT...

Actually that won't work unless you somehow get macroline attached to the inside of the ram cap

...And it would likely still end up cheaper to just buy the actual LPR tester.

It always is in the end, Six. Also, Victory's price has gone up. They have decided to include the tester with the gun, and offset the price for that addition, so this way people can't ***** about not having one.
