I have a classic timmy with a was board that i'm having issues with when i plug in the eyes. With the eyes disconnected it fires fine (of course) but when i get them plugged in it will only fire 1 second after i pull the trigger. I'm dry fireing no air or paint using my finger in the chamer to break the beam. anyone have any idea.
Provided you hooked everything up right, I would bet that you're encountering the boards superior eye-logic. Use some paint and air and let us know.

tested it with paint and air i still get nothing it will not read a ball on forced and its still 1 bps on delayed. i did have to solder a couple of the wires due to lack of connectors on my wireing harness. it could be that its wired wrong

this is how its wired now and the blue and black cable is still in with the plug
I wish I could remember the 2k2 wiring but it's been too long. Another issue I've run into with that board is that it doesn't like the transmitter eyes (clear) with a metal case, they seem to short out against the body and cause serious problems if not corrected.
It's possible that something in your wiring is backwards, I'll see if I can't pull up a diagram for comparison.

Is that the way you soldered them for the connectors or how the eyes are hooked up? I suggest you just buy a new 12pt harness and a new set of 2k2 eyes.
I Pulled this out of the manual, not sure off the top of my head which diode is which but it should help.

i figured it out wihtout getting new stuff i had the harness plugged in backwards so the board was reading my membrane pad as eyes and eyes as the membrane if that makes any sense
