Adjustable ram cap or rubber spacer

Alright so I've got an alias coming in. I'm curious about the adjustable ram cap. Do I need one or can I put in a rubber spacer of some sort to position the bolt where I want?

Honestly, you could use a rubber spacer but there's always that chance of it moving around and ****ing things up, EVEN if you glue it down.

I suggest the adj. cap.
