For you guys over the pond, soccer 1st (Liverpool FC) quickly followed by football (Oakland Raiders). I quite like watching baseball as well, but with no real team favorite.

Football (American), then bowling ......oh, and to all of you who haven't played croquet, it's an f'n blast....get some buddies, beer, bbq, and try it one day:tup:

Sorry to all, I forgot to make the poll say other.
jrmiller- What's your favorite team?
KeenDean- I figured if you posted it would be soccer since you have posted before that you "live on the other side of the lake," lol. I like soccer too, but I love sports where you can hit someone.
Megatron- I am thinking that football is going to have the most votes, but I could be wrong. I haven't played croquet since I was a little kid (I fell old since I just said that and I am probably one of the youngest people on here, 15). It was pretty fun.

Played tennis & squash in my teens, but when I knackered my leg in 1983 that all stopped :( Used to play Badminton a few years ago but my main game is just paintball now

crankwalk- I figured that you would post football if you even posted.
Gee Tee- I have played tennis, but I am really bad at that. In gym class at school we play badminton and I am really good at that.

jrmiller- Oh, when I watched baseball I liked the Red Soxs, but don't watch baseball any more.

I've been playing volleyball for about 18 years. That was till october when I had shoulder surgery, and the doctor said I won't play any sports again.

mcsquid86- wow, that sucks. Hope your shoulder gets better and you can prove him wrong.

I was playing dodgeball and on the 6th game I went to throw a ball and my shoulder came out of scoket and tore a muscle. The doctor said that the dodgeball was the straw that broke the camels back. He said all the years of volleyball had my shoulder a mess. He told my wife after surgery that it wasn't the worst shoulder he has worked on, but it was one of the worst.
Then I developed a blood clot, so now I'm on blood thinners so that put's paintball out for at least 6 months.

haha yeah i was never very good at skateboarding. its weird tho, the guy i always looked up to back when i skated and is now working on going pro ended up being my girlfriends step brother. small world. i tried getting back into it a while back but its just not my sport. im only good at soccer and paintball.
Sl@sh- Lol, I say that whenever I play basketball, don't really watch much other than UNC Tar Heels. I remember when I skateboarded, it was pretty fun, but I sucked at it so I stopped.

mcsquid86- Oh, that really sucks. I bet that you can't wait for this 6 months to be up so that you can atleast play paintball.
Sl@sh- Wow, that is a small world. I am pretty glad I got out of skateboarding before I started spending money on it, when I did it I was using friends boards so it was nice and cheap.

To Watch or to play? Since Nascar is on there I'll guess to watch.
To Watch: College Football Favorite Teams in this order:
1. THE Ohio State Buckeyes
2. Whoever's playing Michigan
3. The Rest of the Big 10 (Unless the are playing Ohio State)
To Participate in, it's not on the list: Tournament Karate!

Squirlly- I guess either, doesn't really matter. Who is your favorite Nascar driver? My girlfriend is like in love with Kasey Khane and I like Deny Hamlin.

I have a couple of favorite drivers. Number 88 :) Dale Jr. and not a single other Hindrick driver  I also have to respect Mark Martin I mean the man is OLD and not only in sports terms I mean in he's old enough to draw Social Security and he's still driving circles around the young pups.
It's kinda funny you mention this, my wife and I are going to be in a NASCAR Bowling leauge. Well she's the league Secratary so she get's to bowl free and free is the best price of all. Check into this league at an AMF bowling center near you

Squirlly- Dale Jr. is in my top 5 drivers, I don't understand why so many people are critizing him for leaving DEI when they are trying to take more of his money and it is causing drama. You are also very right about Mark Martin being old, is he actually going to only drive part-time this up-coming year? I'm not to much of a bowler, but I will tell some of my friends that bowl.

Yeah I don't blame Jr, I blame big sis and step mom but that's the politics of racing and I try to avoid as much politics as I can this is why I TOTALLY DREAD watching TV or listeneing to the Raido the 2 weeks before Ohio primary anf then again like the middle of Aug till after the first Tuesday in November.
As for Mark Martin yeah he's sharing the Number 8 car with a rookie for the 2008 season.

To play, easily basketball or soccer. (Though soccer is out after my knee issues). To watch, probably Baseball or Football...for different reasons. I have a hard time watching hoops or soccer on TV because I get the urge to play.

Squirlly- I agree with you, I don't blame him at all, it isn't like he made those motors blow up, he drove them to the best of his ability and things just happen some times.
lopez17- I wish that I could say basketball, but I am really bad at it, soccer on the other hand I am pretty good at, have a game next weekend for my indoor season. I don't really like to watch baseball though, it doesn't really seem exciting to me to watch it any more, especially with so many of the players using steriods.

Love to play BOTH but I grew up in a VERY ROUGH part of town and both sports take on a new meaning when you are an "Enforcer" in soccer. My puropse according to my coach was to sit on the bench till he found the other teams star, once he did my job was "take out" their star. Play rough and get your cleats into his shins.... Yeah Yeah I know it wasn't nice but it was my job then I got a concious and switched teams where I was put into goal, A short FAT guy isn't usually ain't goalie except in Hockey but once I proved my "ups" (I can spike a volleyball eventho I weigh ALMOST but not quite 300lbs and I'm only 5' 7"ish) I was made goalie and well we won more than we lost so I must have been somewhat good.
As for "B"ball we played "Jungle"ball, no blood no foul. A well placed reverse punch was a legal block for a jumper... as long as the guy didn't start bleeding from internal bleeding by the mouth...
Lookin' at this post I guess I've been a 'baller all my life but now I can inflict pain within the rules of the game, and NO I NEVER bouns ball anyone... unless they wipe then ummmm even as a ref wippers get the full treatment!

Squirlly- that does sound like you lived in a rough place, but it is good that you aren't like that now when you are playing paintball.
