I received the infamous intimidator I was talking about in my other thead, but it seems I have problems. Upon using it, I realized that I was getting the eye sensor error(*). I tried cleaning out the breach and tried cleaning the eyes, as well as opening up the clamshell and checking for pinched wires. After doing this, I am still getting the error. What can I do? What are the odds that the eyes are bad? Or just misaligned, and if they are misaligned, how do I fix that? And if I have to replace the eyes, how easy would it be? I'm 'moderately' comfortable taking my marker apart and working on it. Help would be appreciated.

TMisterBojangles- did you make sure that your eyes are turned on? If they are try sticking one ball in the feedneckwith the bolt back (You don't need air for this) and see if the eye see's that it is there. If the eyes are on and they still don't see that the ball is there then I am pretty sure that your eyes are misaligned. I am not sure how you fix that, but if your eyes are just broken then that is easy, all you do is take off the eye covers so you can get them off of the body, then take your clamshell and take the one half off and disconnect the wire that goes from the harness and attaches to your eyes.

Well, obviously the gun functions in Dryfire mode. But when I changed the eyes to 'force' mode, the solenoid still clicked, but on account of the eye malfunction it capped itself at 12bps. As for replacing the eyes, someone not terribly familiar with intimidators won't have a problem, I take it?
EDIT:
I ordered a new set of eyes from blast, at the previous owners expense. I'm hoping these are fairly easy to replace?
