Heya owners!
I am the proud new owner of a Timmy I got for a steal on EBAY! I played paintball once and saw the sale and really couldn't pass up on a deal like that! Now my problem...

I have completely lubed and changed the ORINGS (Thx to Bob Long Inc for the free kit and DOW)
Aired it up and shot a few shots...
(I used the air up instructions where ya do it slowly, turn regs fire a few shots turn ...)

My problem is I DON'T KNOW WHICH MODEL I HAVE...lol It's a classic with the chrome dual regs one above the other horizontally (Only low pressure one actually has spring in it though) it has the CenterFLag PSI HP REG in a vertical position (sorta like a handle) that goes to 700 and then there is a chrome drop forward (Going from grip to HP PSI REG with a dial just before where the tank screws in (Just a valve to stop air to gun???)! Colorwise it goes from metallic red to orangy to a yellow and chrome everywhere else! The PSI Reg . The main reason I want to know which one it is is because all calibration FAQs say to have my LP Reg at 85ish PSI and I have no indicator for that! I have seen regs with both but mine doesn't. When I fire it off and I have it at say 300 PSI the first few shots trickle (By trickle I mean I spit farther than they go) out then crazy (but I see PSI drop significantly) I put it at 300 because I read that that is the best PSI. The other thing is that after I have fired it ... it does't seem to stop back at 300 it goes higher? Help lol (No real hurry it is 30 below here so no Paintball till march! But i would like to show it off! If this makes no sense at all I will blame it on lack of sleep, DOW inhalation and NooBishness! Don't hesitate to question!

Hello, can you post a picture of it? Sounds like you might have a Classic Timmy with the dualies and one is gutted to act as a volumizer, therefore someone installed a HPR where the original gas-thru went.

So I as I was reading in the forums here, I have fiddled around with it a bit! I think the knob on the drop forward only let's air from the tank out of the tank...now my problem is when I let air in, even if both HP and LP regs are unscrewed the PSI gage just basically tops out. Once I try to play with the regs LP first and shoot it still ends up topping out...I know there is a simple solution for this but without ny basic marker knowledge you guys are my Obi Wan Kenobi's ... Help me you are my only hope!
(I build computer's for a living I know how annoying ppl like me can get pls let me know if I get to that point lol)

how much did you buy your classic for???? also get rid of the drop forward and attach your on/off asa to the bottom of the frame where the screws are holding on the drop forward... you may need a rail or different screws to hold it on... You will find its a lot better playing with your arms extended a bit rather than being so compact which is not good for the balance of your marker it makes it harder to shoot.

Turn your Torpedo Reg down before you start playing with your Duallies.... That could be your simple solution

I bought it for 150$ cad! Figured it was a good price? Now I really have no clue how I would get rid of the drop foreward and what I would need hardwarewise to do so but if it should make things better I am willing to try it! As for the torpedo you mean leave screw completely unscrewed and just screw my bottom LP reg?

It looks like gauge is fitted to a spare HP input on the torpedo reg. If so it would explain why it's topped out, as it's reading the incoming tank pressure. If your bottle's a HP pre-set output it'll put 800-900psi into the reg, which puts the 700psi off the scale.

The gauge needs to be installed downstream of torpedo reg, and there's a port on the front block for this. The spare input on the reg can be blanked off. I've found a picture of a classic in the gallery, and you can see it's gauge mounted where yours is currently blanked off. I can't see any point installing a gauge on the HP side, as it's the LP side you have to set accurately for the gun to cycle, and too much pressure can damage solenoid. The HP torpedo reg is used to adjust velocity and you can normally judge this by feel.
