Timmyfreak- LMAO at the Axe commercial. I wish that it really happened, because I always wear axe, but sadly it doesn't.
crankwalk- I remember that, it was pretty funny, and the text on that picture says it all.

This reminds me of a very funny story (well funny to me) of when I was in the Navy. As one of the lower ranked people on the base every 12 days or so I would pull "Duty Driver" duty which was basically base cabbie if someone needed a ride and it was an offical Navy function I would drive them there and back in a car that belonged to the Navy. But also the Duty Driver changed the announcment board right at the entrance to the Navy part of the base every morning. If there was no announcment the Public Affairs Officer would map out for the month something to say but the board changed every morning. Well our Captian was always saying "Good intentions won't get you anywhere" and yeah he would change it up but the just was intentions are crap actions are what's important. Well on day my roommate was driving allong off base going to the McDonalds in town when he saw an officer in uniform walking along the road with a gas can. He stoped and it was the Captain. He then drove the Captian to the gas station and then back to his car. Later that night he told me the story and I instantly had to chuckle muhahahhahhahhaaa becasue the very next day I was the duty driver muhahahahahaha. So I decided if there was not a real announcment I was going to re-write the one the PAO had down. I came up with "Simply keeping a gas can in your car is not prepaired" The Captin did have the empty can in his hand walking TO the gas station.... I also came up with "Just driving past the gas station don't fill your tank" one of his variations was "Just showing up don't get the job done you have to show a little effort" I came up with several others I can't remember but once I came up with the one I used I stoped becasue it was a winner....
"Good intentions won't get you to the next gas station"
Needless to say the Captian called me into his office the very next morning :D
