Just bought a clam shell

I am getting rid of the big *** stock handle from my classic timmy and adding a clam shell. i read a lot about puncturing the gun, how do i go about avoiding this when i change the handles?

Puncturing your body occurs when you overtighten the front gripframe screw. Just tighten it so it's snug and firm but no more. If you have a washer for it, put the washer on. Unless you torque it down you shouldn't have a problem.

i have removed the grip frame from my timmy many times and have never had any trouble. just be carefull

Just don't overtighten the front screw, make it snug but don't pretend your trying to win a strength competition. Get it finger tight and add 15° of rotation and you will be fine.
