Anyone know who used to do these? (or are currently able to do one)
For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, look below :o

Part in question:

I've sent some emails around to the different machinists I know of, but when 1 single reply takes more than a week I don't really want to hand any of my money to them.. (even though this wouldn't exactly be a high priority cash cow for them)

I've always wanted to know who did this as well. I'll be watching this thread with great interest. I wish you luck with your quest.

To be honest, I would trust my local machine shop enough to mill the deco block. If them messed up, it would not be hard to get a new one made. Hell, Steve milled a true one-off body for me. The pucker factor was through the roof but it turned out great. The owner at the time & original owner & now current owner were happy with it.

I think precisionpb used to do it, but they're long gone unfortunately..

The original owner of that Ripper did it by hand with a dremel if memory serves.

Yup, it's just an example.. :)
Just noticed I should've placed this in voided warranty though.

Are you talking about the Shunut Spimmy? I didn't **** for a week when we went through that... Turned out perfect, though. I'd highly recommend him for the work he did!

It was a slot in the bottom of the Spimmy body like they have on actual Timmy bodies to fit a Gen3 frame properly (solenoid goes up inside the body a bit). I don't think I have any pictures of it still.

Don't know, don't think he did. He never was fond of me 2k5'ing it.

I thought of getting an extra and doing it for my Ripper...

You checked with the airsmiths over on MCB? I can take some pictures & email to a local shop & ask if you were really in need.
Ive also been thinking about selling my classic project but not sure yet.

When I was getting pieces together for my Classic, BLAST did have ONE deco block in a desk. I was going to get it but I found one for a few bucks cheaper & got it.
It doesnt matter now anyway, my Classic is on the chopping & will be up this week.

I got a bunch from Joe at BLAST a few years ago...at the time it was the last of them that they had laying around. They're tricky to come by.
