Here is the deal... I have a 14 inch ultralite that i just got in a trade. The problem is that it has a gold tip (and a black back) that I am just not gangster enough to put onto my blue sliver and black alias. I can get either a 12 inch black tip that would look ok, or a ten inch silver that would look awesome. I play front and was wondering if giving up the two inches to gain the beatifullness is worth it...

timmy lover- I would probably just go with the 12inch. The looks aren't really what you are trying to get, performance is, well that is what I usually try and get. In the end it will be up to you, but I wouldn't get anything less than 12inches unless I had to.

I would say try them both out. If they are both shooting pretty well and have a good grouping go with whichever one you like better. But if you start shooting with the 12" and it is a world of difference over the 10" forget about the looks and keep the 12".

I'd rather have someone think my barrel looks lame when they have paint on their goggles than have someone think my gun looks great while he's painting me up.

You make a great point.

I would go with the 12", 10" is abnormally short in my opinion. 12" is plenty small enough to play front, and from what I've heard going any shorter than that will just hurt accuracy.

AHHAHAH nice one megatron, I just got a Stiffi Switch kit with a 12 inch front but I have not ran any paint threw it yet . I have heard so many good things about these barrels So I'll let you guys know shortly. also I read somewhere that twelve is as short as you want to go and 16 is almost to long and a waste of gas, ..... I cant say because I do not have the barrels to test this out. Keep us informed who knows...

I'm a back player, too old to run and be a front player.

16" Ultralite is what I use, I can use it to move the bunker over and gain advantage covering the tape. I like the .693 version, the stock size is .688, a little bit too small and I get barrel breaks.
