Kila detents worth it?

I'm going to be getting my Shocktech project back from ano here in hopefully a week or two. Just curious as to what you guys think about them. I have never used them in any of my previous Timmys, but had pretty good results in my old Ion. Thanks in advance guys.

I always broke detents in my timmy. Switched to kilas never had to worry about them again.

I haven't noticed any difference in performance in my Protege.

I have noticed that the Kilas seem to get hung up though, so I am thinking about switching back to stock detents.

on a gen 5 there is no need for them the stock ones are fine.

Well PBK hard detents are $2 a pop. So you can replace your detents 25 times before you make up the cost of kilas. I'd have to say I'm with KG though, I like my kilas. Put them in and they basically won't fail.

I have always been a fan of the kila detents, they have worked very well in all of the intimidators that i've had them on. The only downside is the cost, so if you are tight on money i would say to pass on them and pick up the PBK hard detents like Kowz_76 said, but if cost is not an issue I would definitely recommend the kilas.

I have a set of kila's in my ST Alias, and they are faultless in operation. However, I have a small stockpile of hard (blue) PBK detents, which will go in one of my projects. Kila's are just too expensive, especially when I have so many detents already at hand.

I currently have 1 set of stock detents which is why I'm probably going to go with the Kilas. The gun is a Gen 2 Shocktech as well, not the Alias style. Thanks for all the input guys.

Go kilas all the way. Had great luck with them in my RL.

I have a set... as of right now. I hate them, I have the wrong set. I was supposed to get alias style, but i got a different style. I think I would be better off with some sand paper as detents. UGH i got to get different ones.

Picked up a set recently, very pleased with them. Yes, they do cost more than a big sock of rubber detents, but they will never go mid game - besides, I live in the UK and have to order things like detents from the US at stupid postal costs.

And they are red, which matches the fade on my Alias..... :)
