I have had a Timmy since they first came out. Yes it is a blue fade classic beauty. But I am now going to take on a project and see how cheap I can build one from used and new parts. I cant wait to start. I will post pics when the body kit comes in. If anyone is looking to sell parts mainly Noid, board lcd screen(dependent upon board) frame things such as that let me know. If you have done this yourself throw in advice. I have always been a big Timmy fan and i cant wait to have my home built custom. I will also let everyone know how much I built it for. Wish me luck

I've built 3-4 Timmys from the ground up. And its fun, but expensive. The last one I did, my Shocktech had over $600 go into it. It's going to be faster and much cheaper to buy an Alias for ~$200 use the parts you need, then sell the ones you dont. I've done this twice and I've only had to spend max $200 on the gun. Feel free to pm me any questions you have on building one, where to get parts, where to have ano done, etc.
Good Luck.

I'm finishing up a custom Ripper 1 right now that I've been building on and off for the last 3 years. Trust what toolittletoolate is telling you. Buying each part individually costs 3-4 times what just caving in and buying an Alias would.
That said, if you have a body or other part that you're passionate about, building a marker around it is a lot of fun.

Yea i have always wanted to do it and I finally have the time too. I am not trying to buy everything new i want to go with mostly used parts off of here and pb nation. Plus i have some stuff lying around. I am mostly concerned with the noid, board and wiring harness because those are what i don't have and are most expensive
pm'd you about a board and what body do you have comeing in if you dont mind me asking?

It is a tri fade AIM Genesis BLK/Blue/silver. I miss all the cool fades they used to do with the markers. Now they are all a two color fade with really no shades of color in between. i remember that Evos, and timmys used to always have the sickest paint jobs

Ya building a Timmy a piece at a time does cost alot. I really dont want to know how much I have in my Classic Project. I had to buy several lots of parts just for a piece or two. I havent even got to the mock up stage, which Im pretty close. Then comes machine work & one last mock up then off to ano.

Very true. Go after the hard to find parts first. As in my Classic, the grip panels. PITA to find a set & even harder to find a good set.

Yea i have a classic i know the feeling. I have been trying to find someone with access to a cad machine or something like that to see if they could make a set out of aluminium but un successful. I broke the original ones and my second set is holding for now.

I bought a dragon Timmy under the impression it was in great shape. After replacing all parts except for the body noid and lpr block. Buying new gets really pricy.

Yea i am searching timmy owners and pbnation for parts constantly. as well as every website i can find on the net. I know that Paintballkingdom.com has some decent prices if it comes down to having to buy new.
