3 things ive always wondered are:
1 if a body has been heli coilled can it be re anno'd?
2 the bodies that have been punctured then repaired with jb weld are they able to be re annoed?
3 how do i get the ironmen metal jewels out of the body to anno them a seperate color?
1: the helicoil must be removed prior to ano
2: you need to ask the anodizer, it's possible the ano stripping agent will remove it and it will need to be fixed again after ano.
3: heat will probably be your best bet

When I had my Abomb done, the body was close to being punctured, but it had been jbwelded on the front frame screw, and when I got it back the jb weld was gone. I'm assuming the acid ate it away, and I had to repair it again. It's a simple fix though.

When you're going to have ANY ano done all the parts need to be fully disassembled. If you do not, they will A, not ano your gun, B, disassemble it for you and charge you like $60.

They dip them at the same time. Bottom line is, you need to have your gun COMPLETELY disassembled before you ship it to them. No orings, screws, boards, detents, etc, should be left.

The jewels are glued in. Ive seen a few pictures where they were missing & it was just a line of some form of glue.
