I was trawling through the Animal Customs website looking at designs, and nothing jumped out at me.

I looked in there today, and it looks like they've changed the website, or updated it.

On the custom pro design design jerseys. There, listed with the jerseys, is our very own IOG design, along with other forum/group specific jersey designs.

I'm in no way blowing my/our own horn here (seeing as I was one of the key members who contributed to the final design), but the IOG jersey is by far the best looking jersey.

This is really cool, because it means that group orders no longer have to be organized. You can simply go to the site and order a single jersey for yourself, which is nice for people that missed out last time around.

I personally, if I required a new jersey, would still wait for a group order as it's in support of the forum.

hmm... interesting.

For Example:
Cowboy #21 (2XL),
Tim PETERS #777 (XL),
Gerald "G-MONEY" Garcia #66 (L)

yet i wasn't able to get my last name on mine.

The site... as in Animal. I don't think so.

The IOG forum... NO.

^^^ I was just trying to figure out what you meant by this:

I personally, if I required a new jersey, would still wait for a group order as it's in support of the forum.

The above quote made it sound like there was some sort of benefit to the forum itself if big orders were made, as opposed to someone buying just one jersey, but I couldn't figure out what that benefit would be (I'm a little dense). I was thinking of picking a jersey up, because they're so cool looking, but if waiting for another group order down the road would help the site in some way, I'd wait.

I get you buddy. As far as I'm aware, the forum doesn't make anything on the jerseys. Although if I remember rightly, I think for a bulk order, Animal do offer a discount.

So, if someone orders a single jersey from Animal, they pay full price. However, the item price when purchased from a bulk order, actually works out a little less.

Without trawling through previous emails/PM's and posts I couldn't confirm if this is the case.

But looking at the Animal website, there is like a team or bulk order discount. The same is applied to IOG jersey orders processed/collected here at the forum.

When crankwalk next checks in, I'm sure he'll address any issues/confusion this subject may throw up.

Wow - wonders will never cease.

1) Our design DOES look good, doesn't it?
2) IOG doesn't really get anything money-wise out of doing the group buys, it was being done so we could provide an easier way to order for our users.
3) There used to be a discount to our users for doing the group buy, but it seems that based on their current pricing on the website ($55) that they've lowered their prices a bit so now their 'regular' price is what our users were paying in the group buy w/discount.
4) Best thing to do from now on is probably to have everyone order directly from Animal as pricing is the same, and that way no waiting for group buys, and the re-shipping, etc.

Good eye Dean. Thanks for bringing this up. I'll have to post an announcement in the official Jersey thread.
