polishing

So i have taken an alis trigger guard an cut out the front divider to make the trigger huard bigger. Im wanting to know how to finish this an make it polished an all purdy before i send it out to anno.

I.E. im wanting no disgusted tool marks

Pretty much all the Ano companys I have looked into include polishing or charge a small fee.

I would get some sand paper or sanding drums for a dremal & keep going until its as smooth as you can get it. Then chuck up the polishing tip in the dremal & polish it. The striker in my Spyder got hand sanded & hand polished years ago. Still holds a near mirror finish. I do keep a thin film of oil on it to keep from rusting since its made of a hard steel.

File it down then get some sand paper and work on it. 600 grit should get it looking good before ano.

cool thanks guys!!! i really like the idea of taking something putting a twist on it an making it my own...right now im looking for a dm4 body so i can mill it down an what not.
