Does a new in box rapper come with the delrin bolt head or the metal bolt head

I just bought and am waiting on the delivery of a new in bos bob long rapper, and i heard of someone say that they replaced the metal bolt head on one of there marqs after it scratched and caused wear on there breach,and then replaced the metal head with a delrin head and it stopped, so i was wondering if my new in box rapper will be coming with a delrin bolt head or the metal one??

I was also thinking of buying the new proficiency engine with the supercharger kit for the gun also, but it looks like in the pictures that it includes the metal bolt head?? is this upgrade worth it?? and would i be able to replace the metal head on it with a quick release delrin bolt head that i purchase?? i wanted to know before my rapper is deliverd because i am not running the metal bolt head in my new gun so i wanted to order it quickly

If you bought it from a store, it should come with the proficiency engine and possibly SC kit. I haven't really noticed much wear at all from the SS bolt on my proficiency engine. Every bolt will wear eventually, doesn't matter what material it is.

it is a display model...that i got for $400, its not going to have a pe or sc...

considering that the bolt has an oring on it, the material should be irrelevant since the oring is the only thing coming in contact with the actual breech. My guess is the numb nuts didn't clean his gun well and got some sort of abrasive on it and scratched it up

Ok thank you, yeah i figured that since there is orings on the bolt that the metal does not make contact...come to think of it...the bolt head on my Proto pm6 and my new 2009 Proto pmr has a aluminum bolt head or bolt in general, and i have no scratches in my breach at all...although the back part of my proto pm6 bolt is carbon fiber.

I am just new to these guns and did not know if what i was reading about someone getting the breach of his marq scraped up was due to user error or the stainless steel bolt head.

Also like the other member said, why because i bought it from a store then it should come with the proficiency engine and the supercharged kit also???

I think he assumed you bought it from BL direct so it would have had the newest stuff as i doubt he would sell a marker for it to have to be shipped back later for updates that could have been made before it was even sold. IIRC you bought this from a shop that had it sitting in stock for a long time so therefor it is probably an early model that most likely came out as one of the first made.

Well i got it for $400 shipped new in box so i still think its a great deal, since i see these right now being sold used for $400-$450...pE SC or not...i can buy the supercharged pe engine myself along with the tadao oled board
