1-Ram cap is not threaded,It has it like the marqs with a bolt.
2-poppet and lpr are not straight with each other,they are offset.
3-front body is pieced out and was done so they can mill for the internals.
You can see the line on the feedneck going straight down to where the poppet is!
4-No ramsleve.
5-no air line.
6-under 2lbs
7-1/2 inch smaller than a vice.tall wise.
8-geardrive asa.

I hope that's not how they did it. Not only would it take longer (removing the bolt, ram cap, ram, then screw) but if that screw ever stripped it'd be a huge PITA to remove. I'm hoping the screw is reachable from the outside of the gun. So if you're looking down at the top of the gun, you can see the screw head (slightly off to the side of the ram assembly, so that it's not directly underneath).

It's so you can grip it better. If you look at the past Intimidators/Marqs, you either had to hold the bottom part of the reg or wrap your thumb around the barrel. Either method makes it hard to snap if you're in the situation.
Now though, you can grasp the reg to have a more stable hold on the marker. Imo it makes it easier to maneuver with when shooting, snapping, aiming, ect. Bob did this so it could compete with the Egos and such.

there's talk of dual screws holding the body halves together. can anyone confirm or deny? i don't see bob building a hole marker around 1 screw. like someone said on the nation, a bad dive with the force applied in the right spot will ruin the marker. otherwise, this marker looks absolutely amazing. with the price tag, it's definitely going to be an ego killer.

Wow I almost fell out the chair after reading this. I completely agree with the statement. That custom laser "mock-up" looks terribly. I have no idea why people would want do do that to a gun.

I just wish that real milling would come back.

If I had the funds for a Gen6, I'd honestly more likely go for a good condition, well loved Closer.

Hmm...I'm toying with the idea of trading my Victory for one of these. Or maybe just buy one outright. I love timmys, always have. For some reason the gen5 timmy didn't really feel the way I thought it should in my hands. And the gen4 didn't have a big enough trigger guard I thought. This new take on our beloved Intimidator looks like it could be a winner for me. Hopefully it shoots like a well tuned Eigened timmy of past; right out of the box. :)

bob knows that the players want milling back. problem is that sexy milled bodies are expensive to make. the ripper 3, for example, spent 3 hours more on the machines than the infamous did PLUS all of the polishing (which is done by hand). remember the price tag on those markers... they're coming. not anytime soon, but they're coming.

I tend to a agree with you.

Only issue is, most markers don't have enough meat on the to really customizing any more. Every thing seems to have to be so light in weight now thanks to the kiddies. Kids, it's called weights (start lifting) and work (get one, no more xbox).

Okay here is an update relating to the introduction and release of Bob's newest Intimidator, the G6R.

To put it shortly, the G6R release and first pics will happen next week.
Official introduction the new Intimidator will be at the USPL Championship event in Las Vegas on Oct. 8-10.

Same here mate. I move into a new home in 6 weeks time, and my next bundle of joy is due on Christmas day. Spare cash is thinner on the ground than the hair on my bald head.

The only thing I just can not stand on the G6 is the ASA on/off knob. I prefer the cam drive switch which is mounted underneath.

QFT.. i had it for like a day and let people shoot it, when i got it back, it had a leak through the asa.. i replaced the o-rings and it still leaks.. ugh.. :facepalm: no one will ever touch this again.. :tdown:

2 completely different internals and screws. Victory has 5 screws to bolt asa on while G6r has 2.
