Hey guys, I recently called into Bob Long and they said pressure testers we backordered 4-6 weeks, I have a practice on sunday and my Hybrid Mummy seems very inefficient.. I suspect it is a high lpr, but I'm not completely sure which way the dial go to adjust it, My dwell is at 8ms and Running a cp reg, any help is greatly appreciated.

Back out the LPR until your bolt barely cycles then turn it up about 1 full turn. That should get you close to where it needs to be.

Hmm, I will do this when I get home, I'm just afraid I will go the wrong way and blow my solenoid

Clockwise = increase pressure according to the manual.

clockwise from what direction? I have the lpr slot milled, It doesnt specify what way the gun is pointing, pics or diagrams would help this dilemma

In general, when you are looking at an adjustment screw from the end where you put the tool, that is the direction.

You mean the screw below the barrel?

That screw doesn't affect the LPR.
-edit- Honestly, I don't even know WTF it's there for.

:facepalm:
Before you do ANYTHING else, read the manual.

How do you think air get to were it needs to be without hoses?
And yes, please download and understand the manual before trying anything else.

Right, I understand how the quote feature works. I'm just not sure what a hose (or a lack there of) has to do with that hole. I just don't know why it's there.
-edit- I'm referring to the front transfer hole with the screw in it.

They have to be able to mill the channel for the air some how, and then they have to plug them or else it will just leak.

think of the LPR turning not as clockwise/counterclockwise.
think of it as an actual screw, the Marq LPR is much like all other timmy LPR's,
screwing the adjustment screw in raises presure, screwing it out lowers pressure.
this way no matter how you have the gun oriented, you have an instant point of reference.

so your saying if I screw the "screw" towards the gun my pressure will go _____. Fill in the blank Plz.

In=more
Out=less
As stated in the manual...

haha thanks guys, you have cured my Marq LPR knowledge, I was just a bit confused
it was a few turns up, thats why it was so inefficient, thanks so much :D
wate i thought the mummys used the original design and skrewed in and didnt realy have a back cap like normal marqs so how would you use a normal pressure tester?

I believe the pressure tester just slides in like an engine would.
o ok i thought the internals where a little diferent also

if you screw the screw in Towards the housing that the screw sits in, your pressure will increase.
