This thread is for those of you who have purchased the new Vice or Potege and didn't buy an LPR tester.
I haven't seen this posted anywhere yet so i decided to post it up for those who need help. to start out, the optimal psi the lpr should be at is 70psi. first screw out the lpr screw so that it is flush with the lpr itself. then screw it close to exactly 1 full turn as possible, at this point it should be at exactly 70psi. be careful not to mess with the lpr screw too much. each complete full turn adds on 70psi. Each quarter turn adds about 20psi and unscrewing removes 20psi. if you want add or lower 5 psi, turn about 1/8 of a complete turn and this will put you about 5psi away. as i've said again, to get to as close as 70psi as possible, make sure that your lpr screw is as close to flush as you can make it, then screw it in 1 complete turn, be sure to be as precise as possible and this will yield 70psi. i highly recommend that whomever has a Vice or a Protege should get a lpr tester because the lpr is quite sensitive.
i'm not responsible for any pressure damage done to your marker, i've tested this with 3 vices and a protege so it is not as accurate as i want, but all the ones i've worked on is the same. if you need help or clarafication with anything, feel free to post up or pm me.
