For a 2k2, can you take the ram cap off the Lurker Ram and use the Hybrid Cap for Alias on the 2k2 style Timmy?

Is this combo smart, anyone tried it??

Yes you can remove the ram bumper (black mushroom looking thing) and just use the bumperless "Alias" style hybrid ram cap. However, Lurker recommends that you shave the end off the mushroom (head) just leaving the "stem" inside the hole at the back of the ram.

High Performance Modifications
If your back cap DOES have a rubber bumper, you can simply leave off the bumper. For best performance, cut the stem off the bumper and glue it in the provided hole in the ram. This devolumizes the chamber and helps a bit more. A bit of superglue will help it stay in and perform best.

I fitted one in my Empire a few month ago - fantastic upgrade

You need the matching poppit spring to get decent velocity

I personally like the eigenram because it is very light but yes sometimes you will also need a lighter spring if you can't achieve the proper velocity. Its advertised as a plug and play ram but it may take some tinkering depending on your setup. I have used it and a black 32 degree spring kit (black spring for the spyder valve) with it.. felt amazing, eliminated a lot of kick...

Didn't need one on mine.

The Empire has an adjustable ram cap with bumper attached
