I got a new rapper a few months ago and when i first took it out of the box i wanted to take the bolt out to clean it since it was a floor model and i knew it was sitting for a long time,so i tried to take the engine out and found that it was stuck in the gun and after pushing against the front of the bolt with a squeegee i finally pushed it out and found that there was dried dow55 on the bolt tip and all over the engine witch probally caused it to get stuck in the gun.

Any way i took the bolt appart and cleaned it and then put it back together only to find it leaking when i aired the gun up,so i took the engine out again and put all new orings on the engine accept for the oring that goes on the ram and put the bolt back together aired it up and it still leaked....so i then took the engine back out and replaced the oring on the ram...."the little drum on the back of the ram shaft" and it stopped leaking and i was able to fire the gun.

I went to go air up the gun a week later and found that the gun started leaking again...this time with every oring replaced on the engine,so i took the engine out again and this time i did what Mike from Tech PB said witch was to slightly un screw the back and front halves of the engine since he said that sometimes due to some miss alighnment problems screwing the engine all the way together tight would cause leaks and when he would slightly crack the engine halves loose a bit the leak would stop....needless to say i tried that and it worked.

I shot the gun again and everything was fine so i decided to check the engine by taking it out again and this time i screwed the engine halves all the way together till tight....aired up the gun and this time it sealed so i thought it was just a little problem with one of the orings.

Now i just aired the gun up again after about a week and it started leaking again untill i this time took the engine out and slightly loosend the back and front of the engine halves, put the engine back in and the gun did not leak....lol...what is going on here?

Im sorry for the long story but this is what happend as wierd as it sounds

Sounds like an oring is getting squeezed to much or a gap is being made to big when you screw it tight.
