Im wondering what QEV would work best on the rear of the ram, its got very little room
and is this even worth doing?

I am pretty sure teher si a ram cap with a built in EV, though I cna't remember the name right now I think it was a NDZ or something. YOu could in theory redrill and tap the hole to 10-32 threads and sut add a cocker QEV. Everytime I hear this idea mentioned it is generaly shot down pretty quick, the main thing you need to consider is are you outshootign your gun? Do you really think its necessary to put one in there? IF you think it is worth then by all means go for it.

never heard of this mod for a Timmy..... and all you need to shoot is 15 BPS and a Timmy can certainly keep up with that Stock... Just my 2 cents.

Yeah there isnt much reason to have one. I had my timmy shooting at 23 BPS no sweat without a QEV. Its just one more thing that you dont need.

Im putting together an intimidator from pieces
so far:
2k2 black front block ASP 0-300 mini gauge
2k2 lpr with CP volumizer
2k2 ram sleeve w/ evil punch ram
empire delrin poppit w/ ultra light valve spring
AIM timmy trigger frame w/ CP roller bearing stick trigger and magnetic return
Redz clamping feedneck
Evil detonator hpr
unimount on a tsunami drop (I use an 88/4500)
custom made (by me) high flow delrin bolt
ASP gen 3 body chrome, this isnt the body that will end up on the gun Ive got a FBM spyder razor body that Im milling to work, but the tube diameters are to small so Im going to have to hone the tubes (as well as mill the hell out of the rest of it)

it airs up and shoots fine but Ive got a few more things to do before its field ready
I need:
2k2 eye covers, really considering a killa set (I love their detent on my Dragun)
install universal Tboard, the board in the frame is some ver 1.2 sob that the settings are changed via dip switches (anyone who can tell me what the switch settings are would be great)
switch out bodies
add paint
shoot people

Wow nice little project and under 150 is a steal. It does all go back to personal preferences though.... Do you Play Back or Anchor a lot thought an 88ci 4500psi tank seems HUGE to me especially for a Timmy, I have a 45ci 4500 psi tank and with my timmy I can shoot 5 pods plus a hopper no problem. I was just wondering how much paint your throwing a game???? Anywho post a picture of this beast I would love to see it !!!

When Im playing speedball I play mid
but Im the Captain of the Night Lords scenario team, so most of my shooting is done in the woods
I dont shoot alot of paint all the time, but Ive got to have it when I need it
the 88/4500 lets me stay on the field a long time, very important at big games, it can be a real long walk back to get air
Ill get pics up soon, it looks real strange right now with transparent tape holding in the detents and eyes, but it shoots

heeheh Yeah I hear ya I was just wondering for applications in speed ball a 88 /4500 tank sounds ridiculous but with woods ball in mind the tank makes a lot more sense. cant wait to see Pic's
