Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Kila Vibe board and their 4C eye upgrade for the Alias platform Timmys? I already have the Vibe board, and let me tell you....THIS BOARD IS NUTS!!!! I love it, its crazy fast and had some interesting features. And for $100....awesome! But I just also oredered the new detents ( the only drawback if you have the old style Kila detents) and the eye upgrade. So ill make sure I post some info on it after I get them and break em in :D

I was wondering how much better the killer detents are? I still have the softer ones and have never had a problem, and run a Empire Halo B. No double feeds, ect. I also read I can use Spyder detents if the timmy ones are not available, and also what is the big hoopla about magnetic detents any way? they run about 40 bucks so I want to learn more before I just shell out the cash, thanks for the info guys ......... -R-

I got mine after my stock detents went bad during a tournament. Crazy ball breaks and a sick nasty mess, and during a tournament there is not always time to tear down your gun to clean it. I have used my Kilas for about 6 months now and have not had a single problem with these. They pretty much never need replaced and unlike others they have an incredibly smooth motion, and dont just get pushed to the side like the stock ones. IMO they are a great upgrade to have. Just to never have to worry about it. And as far as the spyder ones go, im not really sure but the last spyder I had was the autococker style ones with the ball bearing which would definatley not work on a timmy.

I prefer the Frenzy 1.5 Board for Timmys over ANY other Board. No other markers have ever outperformed mine using the 1.5 or 127.5's for that matter.
The 4-eye upgrade works well, but I don't care for their bulkiness at all.

I'm right there with Rob. I've also seen Kila be less than helpful in replacing a defective board for a local customer here in VA.

Well I had my first real chance to try out my Kila setup. Board, detents, and the 4C eye upgrade. I will have to say it did much better than I thought it would do. Of course the detents are great as everyone knows, but the combo of the board and the eyes, WOW. definatly increased my ROF. And I have slow fingers. lol. on the stock board I could hardley reach 10 BPS. With this setup, I can easily reach 13-14 and once hit 17 BPS. For me thats good! The ONLY issue i am having is their hopper delay setting. So after every shot it beeps....annyoying... but I am working on fixing that. I have to get it set to my Vlocity. But thats another issue. lol.. But as far as the board and eyes go, I love mine. So far a great upgrade. :D

sooo I have the Kila Combo (Board, detents, and the 4C eye upgrade) in my 2k5 Alias too
and it just works great...with my Reloader B2 on top
it was no problem for me to shot 20 bps (true semi) without ajusting anything
and I never was slower than 15 bps just amazing how the three parts work together
I had nearly the same problem but here it was the board vibration at every shot...but I just turned it of :P
so I just can advise you if you can get a combo or a gun with the kila combo installed BUY IT you will never regret that

I had the same issue with the hopper delay. Turn it down (I use the setting of 1) if you have a stock hopper and it will go away.
If you have an upgraded hopper like a vlocity with a chip or a newer hopper you can up that a little.
It's also really good for alerting you that the hopper batteries are going low!
I love the set up too it's amazing in my protege!
