Hey everyone! Im getting back into the Timmys again and decided to give it another chance after parting out my damn, brand new Alias that decided to take a leak after a day, years ago. Couldn't even fix it AT ALL. SO Im giving it another shot and just want to be clear on some things..........

VALUE:

Ripper 2 in good-excellent condition. How much??

Ripper 3- LNIB. How Much???

COMPATIBILITY:

Regarding to Ripper 3. Eye Covers are 2k5 compatible, correct???

How about the Front Block from the Ripper 3, same as 2k5 Front Block?

Ram SLEEVE, from the looks of it, Ripper 3(Gen 4) rams are smaller than 2k5 style, correct??

THANKS!!

If the leak on your alias that you couldnt fix frustrated you enough to part it out, then maybe you should stay away from timmys and get a tippmann... just my $0.02

Gen3 and gen4 rams are different IIRC, hence why aftermarket rams like the Eigenram has those 2 options.

Compatibility list is here(which ironically its not in the stickies here?)
http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=1366959

And prices depends on what the buyer wants to pay and what the seller is willing to let it go for.
$0.01-$350 is a good range for both.

Dude, that is so low blow right there lol. It was my first elctro performance marker ever. And I didnt know much about this site. After teching so many Angels, I just missed the simplicity of Timmys. Especially parts that are easy fix, mostly o-rings on the Timmys. Angels were entirely different.........

I apologize for not being clear......

I mean ram SLEEVE, from the looks of it 2k5 and 2k6 or Gen4 looks different in length??

Gen3 and gen4 sleeve are different and can't be interchanged.

I scoured around this site and pbn image galleries and I did not find one Intimidator with CCM no pro feedneck. There is several for sale on eBay so it should work. I know you would have to cut your hopper neck half inch off, if so, would there still be any clearance if I wanted to take the bolt off while hopper is still on or is it just the fact that the hopper will sit crazy low won't have that alley of aimsight when looking down to target. My theory is if the hopper sits really low, the bulkhead and width of hopper will block that gap of sight when lookin down to target. I know I'm not making sense so I will get pics tonight of what I'm trying to say lol.

I dont know about the sanding of the hopper thing.... i didnt sand mine, and none of my hoppers ever fell or broke off at the feedneck...but then again, on the field i am as graceful and dainty as a swan:dodgy:

To answer your question about clearance for bolt removal with the hopper still on: I beleive that even with a sanded neck you will still have room... but if you dont, just loosen the lever on the feedneck, turn the hopper to the side, and BLAMO!!!

and yes, the lower your hopper sits, the smaller that "alley of aimsight" gets

Never said anything about sanding. But I rather SAND than cut the hopper short. I never had these feedneck concerns due to Angel's breach door and opening clearance with aftermarket feednecks, therefore stuck with stock feedneck.
Thank you very much for the pic. The feedneck doesn't look that low which is kinda good. With this "alleyway of sight" being much slimmer, any problems with your hopper on? What hopper you have? I figured if you have halo or something else similar opposed to the rotor which is smaller IMO, I should have no worries.

I cut then sanded my hopper for my vice. It is sexy and I can still take the bolt out with the hopper on. I did this also with my alias (which I sold) and it also worked fine. You shouldn't have an issue.

Thanks guys!

Im looking forward to great things to the ripper 3 I just bought brand new. Probally more fun to shoot than the Angels with the rattling breach door of every shot....but they made great private labels and they will be missed, well not so much since I'll be rocking the Ripper.

Thanks for your time!
