Today, I realized that the rest of my life seemingly hangs on how next semester is going to play out.
If I don't make it into the nursing program, I am going to be in quite a pickle.
The EMS program doesn't start until next august, and i'm out of prerequisite classes for nursing. So, I either try to take more nonsense classes to keep my financial aid and wait for august, or take a trade class at Votech. However, that's only if I don't make the nursing program.

Aside from that all went well needed new eyes for the ripper 2.5 and after that it was smooth sailing...

Whenever I'd run into situations similiar to D's, I would ask the fellow questioning my integrity if he wanted to step off of the the paintball field's property and settle the debate toe to toe. It normally nullified the situation and gave us a moment to discuss the issue quietly, and without our dumb friends interjecting every other word.

Tis why I prefer to find a nice empty filed and go over a couple of weekends with my boys with shovels and chainsaws tools and wood, clean it up and build a nice strategic field we can all enjoy FUN games amongst one another with no arguing and fighting.

The last field we set up like this ended up being discovered by some younger guys (17 - 22-ish) and it slowly turned ugly over the course of a few months. Eventually I shot this loudmouth (who was about 18 and had been running his mouf the last few weeks leading up to this day) 2 times who was apparently walking off the filed after being eliminated, but THE IDIOT was in a stalking stance aiming right at me instead of holding a hand or his Marker up letting everyone know he was out. He immediately started shouting and talking trash and actually shot me back a few times point blank...

Rocking my '03 Dye Reflex (a gem of a Marker that didn't have so much as a mark on it), I literally threw it about 10 feet and before the Marker hit the ground, I clocked him dead smack in the middle of his grill and knocked him on his *** and begged him to get up and say something else. He just looked at me in shock and sat there like a punk *** *****.

It was the first time since I was 15 that I hit someone and have not hit anyone since.
(I dislike violence but if it comes to it, all bets are off with me and I could care less for the other person's well being and the result is never good)

However, you'd think this moron learned his lesson but 2 weeks later he tried one of my boys who was closer to his age and had really never fought before and the windmill fight ensued...LOL!!! We laughed so hard but mostly because you'd expect that anyone talking this much nonsense, acting all hard would at least have an idea as to how to throw a punch. That fight ended with my boy Ronnie choking his *** out until he literally submitted just before passing out from a choke hold. Wouldn't you know it though, as he was walking away, HE STILL continued the trash talking. I laughed at him and called him a ***** and one of his boys steps over me (I was sitting in a chair) and tells me to watch my mouth that it was over. But by the time I said Wh.....at? My brother hit him twice... Once in the mouth knocking him out cold and the other punch on his clavicle as he was going down, breaking it in 2 places. My Brother has scary retard strength. LOL

That was the end of that spot for us. I'm currently thinking of going back and getting it back up to its old form so we can resume fun and friendly games.

I was playing with my Tiberius on sunday and some new guys came to play, driving over an hour to get to the field. I was good friends with one of them, but I didn't know the other guy very well at all. We were playing an attack and defend game in the urban decay field. The field is a burnt down house that's been steadily built back up with scattered structures and still has a 4' fence surrounding it. I managed to run back and forth on the left side of the field to distract the defenders while my teammates worked up the right side. Once I finally got close enough to get inside the fence, I ran in and went to surrender the 'other guy' who had his back to me. I yelled 'surrender', he turned around, looked at me, started to raise his marker like he was going to put it in the air, and then shot me as I was turning my head to yell 'game over.'

He claimed that he thought I said 'I found him,' not 'surrender.' I was 3' from him. I should have marked him in the back of the head from the fence, but I was trying to be nice that day. I know I should take it in stride and gone about my day, but I have a mandatory 10' surrender rule for a reason, and that reason is so people aren't trying to blast each other from that close of distance.

It's the little things, you know?

We once saw some random group of young people (18-20 years old or so) guys & girls and the guys would walk up to a girl and like the cowards they are, would place the gun over a bunker right on the girls and lace them up something awful. On top of that they were chronoing over 320fps on average. I use the 10' rule to keep my new players safe, and as a means of conveying respect. If a player has the skill to sneak up behind you and get that close to you, you should respect his skill and call yourself out, not shoot him in the junk from a 3' distance while he's calling the game to an end because by the FIELD's rules, the game is now over.

I agree, the 10' rule is great for keeping players from becoming overly physical. Nothing can ruin a day of fun as quickly because someone loses their head over getting shot from close quarters and starts throwing fists. I'm glad to say i've only had to lay hands on someone in paintball a few times, and that was to either prevent fights, or to tackle a player and protect his head when his facemask fell off.

FACT; Macs cost more because they don't use generic crapshoot parts and are engineered to perform as good and hassle free with little to no issues "IF EVER". Just the way PC's connect to LANs is archaic enough to warrant throwing stones at them. Also, PC's cannot and will not accept peripherals that are not specifically formatted for them to stomach even mounting them.

The INTELLIGENT choice in computers is a Mac. you get ALL the benefits of Mac/Apple & a STABLE Operating System that is streamlined and powerful with no need for malware, spyware, or any other of that crap that causes PC's to take 5 minutes to boot up. Plus, if there's something you need specifically that is made only for Windows guess what? You can install it on there too. Either native or using an emulation partition on your drive with no slow ups and or hassle!

I was at JC Penny just yesterday buying my son a new Mattress and their Windows based system went down. Thanks to that, my 20 minute purchase turned into a 1.5 hour ordeal. I grew up in N.Y., NY (Harlem to be specific) and you'd be amazed at how many Jews referred to us as Spics, ******s, Chincs and all sorts of "cool" stuff like that. They were in the minority but they exist. The best part was that they only lasted maybe 30 seconds before someone did something to them to teach them to curb their racist mouths. Some would get a good tire skid in a puddle of water, others food/beverage thrown all over them and some got that *** beat. Halloween was always fun... D-cell Batteries, Dried Beans, Rice & Flour in a nice, NEW TUBE sock and Poof! It had a name but it escapes me ATM.

I was too small and too non-confrontational for the latter but there were days I wished I could knock someone in the head with one of those! Come to think of it, I'm glad I never did (with the batteries that is - LOL), I'd probably still be feeling guilt had I done so.
