What are your thoughts?
I'm trading for an alias timmy with a kila vibe board and im just wondering about the quality of a board from there company.

Thanks!

IMO is the best board. The frenzy type board seem to make my timmys get best results over the crono, and the vibe was the best IMO. I use a lucky board and virtue chip, but I wish my vibe board never broke, but that was user error.

It will let your noid run on the loest dwell a timmy can run on. In fact, I had mine at 5ms, and it got the best consistancy I have ever seen, and best air efficiency. The vibe board is a great board.

Also if you checked out the pic for the vibe board on pbreiview, that is my pic. ;)

I was wondering this as well, to add to the question since Killa sells a package with the detents (I've had some killa detents for other guns, liked them) and the 4 eye...does anyone have an opinion on the 4 eye?

Not meaning to hijack your thread...but at least it's highly related.

from what I understand yes you can make your Timmy a 4 eye BEAST with that board and the detent / eye combo. I was going to try it for my alias upgrade, but I have been dumping what little cash I have into my MummY as of late. I do know the 4 eye technology is very cool and I tell you the Mummy can rip threw some paint, I cant say in comparison with a virtue board, but I am very impressed with my Tadao board w/ 4 eyes technology.

My alias was able to reach it maximum rof potential with the 4 eyes.

I found b y turning the eyes off, my alias was able to successfully cycle up to 21bps, and so far the 4c eyes and vibe board is the only one that allowed it to shoots that fast at a consistant pace with my current setup.

I couldnt believe it, but the first time I realized this was with reballs, and hearing it shoot at that speed through my alias was amazing, and the kila vibe with 4c eyes was even up till now the only board and eyes that achieved this.

I now use a lucky board with virtue chip, but would be using my kila setup if the lcd screen hasnt cracked, but that was my fault, not board.

The kila package is awsome, and if you got the extra money and are interested, it is worth the try IMO.

I would suggest the Kila Vibe board as well. Kila makes some great products and is an excellent company but just one word of warning, since the Vibe is based loosely on the Frenzy board, it MAY not have enough juice to run an RF chip if you planned on using a DXS pulse loader. The stock frenzy board has this problem as well.. although I've not seen too many people using Pulses these days after that lawsuit and what not...

Yeah not too many Pulses but the vLoicty also has an RF option and I think the Empire Reloader B and B2s have an RF option as well as their Magna....

thanks for the info Squirlly - I've been out of the loop on hopper technology lately

I had a pulse once but sold it and I still use my trusty Halo B - hopefully getting new shells for it soon :D

Is this hit or miss with the Frenzy boards or downright won't work? The RL I'm receiving probably has the 127 and I'd like to be able to use my RF with it. If it won't work, I'm hoping the new Yakuza OLED will.

I think it might be hit or miss.. I believe its worked for some but not for others...

There has been recent discussion of STOCK Bob Long boards not putting out a consistent voltage at high rates of fire for the RF transmitter - check THIS POST (http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?p=29778748#post29778748) for more information. The Pulse RF module may not work consistently with STOCK Intimidator/Defiant/Marq boards but has been confirmed to work well with aftermarket boards that send a constant 5v to the solenoid.

The kila vibe board actually worked quite well on both my alias, and a ripper II someone sent me for repair. Both of which had the rf chip installed, and worked successfully. I would get a perfect sinc, as well as responsivness during play. Although I have read on the forums at pbn of people not having s much luck, but my secret for gen3 users is to have the rf chip placed in the front top part of the grip frame, just behind the front frame screw.

Hey glad to hear the Kila Vibe worked well for you with the RF chip - do you know if it not working also has something to do with the aluminum inserts inside the grip panels? I THOUGHT i read somewhere that certain grip panels can cause RF interference.. I don't really know though. I used my Pulse hopper with a Tadao Infamous board so I never had any issues regardless of what grips I was using..

There were some posts on the nation regarding the addition of a small capacitor inline with the RF module to help it with the low voltage issues on stock boards. Anyone here try that out?

Thats a myth. I believe people assumed that at first because all other markers seemed to work just fine, and the timmy unlike most stock markers has the lining in the grip panels. With or without lined grip panels the results are the same. I did try sincing a few different frenzy boards and got terrible results, and for the ones that did sinc, but had poor consistancy in sending signals, removing the grip panels did not work.

The frenzy boards that I tried were the 116, 3 diff 127.4's, 127.5c. The 116 did not sinc at all, all 3 127.4's sinced, but one provided poor signals and the two others did well untill the batt was below 9volts, and the 127.5c worked flawless.

The vibe sent seemingly 100% signals untill the batt was below 8.5 volts. Although for play I didnt see a difference since the pulse relies on that first signal to star feeding each burst, afterwhich the pulse will continue to feed untill there is like a whole 1second break between shots. It only became an issue when below 8volts. But I would get plenty of gaming so replacing the battery onve every other month is no worries for me.

Hey thanks for clearing that stuff up. It is very helpful information not only for the pulse rf chip users but for users of other marker-linkable hoppers.
