Hey everyone, I picked up a classic body for a good price and I want to 2k5 it. I was just wondering if the alias ram, frame, etc. would fit on it without any modifications?

EDIT: Also what feedneck threads does it take?

Thanks

Feedneck - Classic style. CCM has a few left, check their ebay store.

Mods - milling the bottom of the body so there is room for the stuff that sits in the top of the frame & if you use an alias front block, tapping that hole.

It will all fit but you need the deco block to hide the back end of the ramsleeve and obviously you will need it tapped for an alias block

Not completely correct. All gen 1 bodies need to have the bottom milled out like an Alias body for the noid, board and wiring to fit. Blast does do this, but I don't know how much they charge. And yes you will need to have the body tapped for an alias style grub screw.

Bill is right but I shall not quote him. If you look above, I said the bottom need to be milled. To be honest, a pre-2005 STYLE frame should fit without the milling due to the space in the upper part of the clamshell.

I was outbid as well. I picked up a normal classic body for my project for $10.

if you can find it, trinity makes a decent front block. its alias style, but uses a 2k2 screw, so you dont have to tap the hole. i have one on a spyder project gun right now.
