i just got a used Ecx intimidator. The problem is that i don't know how to program the board. it seems to only have a power switch and a flashing LED. I took apart the grip to get to the board and i still can't find any switches. Could someone please tell me how i could program the board (especially how to changed the ROF cap) thanks.

We need to know what board you have first.

Post a pic of the board if you don't know.

That's a Frenzy board, I believe the 2k2 manual will tell you how to program it via the LED. If not then you'll need to pick up a 2k2 LCD screen and 12 point harness or a different board.

Unless it has problems there's no need to program it as it's only going to have semi-auto.

The 2k2 Manual does not cover anything about this board as this is indeed a Frenzy board which came 3 years after the 2k2 manual was done. The one covered in the manual is an SOB Board which used Dip Switches to adjust settings on the board and is of no help for this. You need to call up BLAST and ask if they can email you a copy of the Manual. I think it does allow for programming via the LED.

^^^ Excellent find icp-ms... Too bad that info is for SOB Boards ONLY. This man's board (as stated a few times in here already) is a FRENZY Board which has NOTHING to do with the SOB and those ^^^ instructions.

Yes, you have a Frenzy board. Check the ultimate sticky here for the manual or call BLAST and ask them to email me the manual if they have it.

where can i get the lcd? will i need a new lower left reciever/grip? Also, what would be the best board to get for a low price?

You'll need the LCD and the Membrane Pad to adjust your settings but with this frame you do not have the option of mounting the screen and membrane. You will use the screen to adjust settings when needed and then power down and disconnect it and re-assemble the frame. It's a bit of a pain but once you get used to it it'll be a breeze.

You can also part out your frame and make up some of the money needed to acquire a full 2k5 frame setup that'll allow for a multitude of options such as LED, LCD or OLED. I recommend going with Frenzy or Tadao.

thanks. by the way, how much would my ecx sell for in its currents state? (all stock)
also, what are all the parts i would need? is it just the lcd and the membrane pad. it seems like i would need a 12 point harness.

A stock ECX will go for $100-$150. Depending on anno you might get more.
