heheheh Just when you think everything is running good, my favorite sound from a paint ball gun is heard.
A mild to light hiss from the engine area. Now since I have the new 2 piece pillow bolt/ ram combo I pulled the engine of the gun out and went to the regular job of inspecting o-Rings and cleaning excess lube off the gun.
here is where I noticed something new....
the engine has a two piece design. You take off the bolt and you can unscrew the engine and it pops into two pieces with the ram in the middle which supports the poppit snd spring assembly.
went threw all the o-rings reassembled and installed... still a small hiss
took the engine out again.... this time I noticed the 2 part engine assembly had unscrewed its self when there was gas threw the gun. Tightened it up, reassembled and gassed it up again.... same problem.
now nothing short of using blue locktite again are there any suggestions?
I do not know if this is the cause of the hiss or just something new to deal with but I wanted to just throw this out there for general suggestions.
Thanks in advance for the help guys !!!!

I would check the oring to make sure none are sliced or have over swelled as to create a tiny gap especially the ones on the poppet and the ram

Well I went out this weekend and again very light hiss... still throws ropes and effeciancy does not seem to be effected. I love this gun still not a single chop and about 5 cases of paint threw it!!!! If it isn't broke don't fix it . I am going to ride this one out I'll post again if anything new comes up .

Ok I took apart my MummY.. GOD I love this gun it has no kick at all and throws out so much pain...!!!I noticed every time I took apart the engine for this bad boy the two intersecting parts for the body of the engine had somehow worked them selfs loose. My first instincts told me to either lock tight it or use some pluming tape ...Wait if I do that I can get that junk in my noid Bahh never mind. but If I do that then what was the point of getting the quick disconnect pillow bolt, ect.... any suggestions guys?

Also BoB just put out an efficiency kit for the Marq clones I wanted to know if anyone had tried it out yet and what it was priced....?

the leak is most likely from the front o-ring being pinched. ad i think the HE kits are running $150

The small leak comes from the LPR O-ring between lpr and body.
