brand new 06 timmy need maintenance before shooting?

Hello all,

Just got my first paintball gun. Been reading as much as I can here to learn about the timmys. I have a noob question. Should I break the gun down and lube/oil everything before I shoot it for the first time? I am itching to gas this thing up and sling some paint!!!! But, I don't want to mess anything up :). Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Yes it is a good idea to go ahead and give the marker internals a good lube before shooting. Use Dow 55. The Gen4 manual which details breakdown can be found in our "Ultimate Sticky" (http://www.intimidatorowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26)
