Well This weekend at GFOA tournament a teammates Infomous just out of no where started to get real bad drop off the first two or three shots were fine but then it seems the gun was starved for air. I did not have time at the tourney to play or fiddle to much with the gun but I pulled his LPR apart and inspected the O-rings and relubed and the problem got worse. I had my alias so he shot that instead. thank god for spare guns.... ( the Mummy shot Flawless as this weekend!)
I see him again this Saturday and will be able to Pull this bad boy apart again and was just looking for some general suggestions.
Mabey a volumizer, but the gun did not shoot this way before so I doubt that would work as a quick fix. It seems like it it not refreshing fast enough. all suggestions are welcome thanks again guys....

try rebuilding the regs. HPR too. Then I'd check his settings.

Was the guy running air from an LP output bottle? If so try one with a decent HP output reg and see if shoot down is the same. Most LP (450psi) bottle regs do not flow/recharge fast enough to cope with extreme ROF, unless a gun runs on very low pressure. Crossfire are one of the few makes of LP reg that can keep up flow-wise with most markers.

Even though Timmys only run at 70-80psi on the LP side, the HP reg still use 250-350psi to get a decent velocity. They will still need a good volume of air above this pressure to avoid shoot down.

best way to test if its a reg issue is to swap for a known good working reg or set of regs, try first the LPR then the HPR if you can.

sounds like a seals rebuild might be in order if it just all of a sudden started acting up, seals/rings are a good place to start in flow related issues
